😁I say it all the time! I love that word 💥 L’Autre Oud does NOT smell good on me. Oud, patchouli, and my skin is not a good combo. It’s definitely one of those that either smells great or awful and needs a tester.
Hi Greta, I just came across this video, so you may have expanded your Maison Lancome collection in the meantime... I think it's one of the most underrated and overlooked lines... I have quite a few and love them! I hope this line is not getting discontinued completely. The white caps are from a release around 3 yrs ago which included Iris Dragees, Santa Kardamom & Oranges Bigarades. I also love Jasmins Marzipane but was hoping for more marzipan... also used to it from Germany😉 Some of the other discontinued gems are Lavandes Trianon and Tuberoses Castane... Figues & Agrumes and Patchouli Aromatique are also really beautiful and of course the crown jewel Oud Bouquet!

I don’t enjoy leather in most fragrances, especially when it’s really prominent. I’m glad you said it’s not picked up much from the fragrance. And Jasmine Marzipane is beautiful. I don’t pick up as much sweetness as I thought I would either but I love it.. Hey Raffi 😘
Lancome Oud Bouquet is so strong on me. I can’t fathom even smelling it in the summer. In the coldest weather, I can’t tolerate over 2 sprays. It’s so good though. And why did they only put one panel on iris dragees? Weird🤔
I have the new formulation Oud Bouquet and the bottle has the gold panel in the front like the other bottles and the floral plating on the side & I know the old formulation looks completely different & I'm on the hunt for that one.

Unfortunately, Lancome decided to cut corners with the packaging so the newer bottles only have one gold panel. Still the same formulation though! The only difference in formulation is between the bottles with the magnetic caps that started in 2016 and the older bottles without the magnetic caps from 2014.
Iris Dragées is my favorite iris frag ever! My two favorites after are Black Tie fro Celine and Trussardi Aperetivo Porta Nuova! Would love to have your opinion on those 2! Oh and Lavandes Trianon from this line is fantastic!!! Have you tried this one? So good!!! Anyway, thank you for sharing🥰
There is vanilla and cashmeran in the base. It’s still sweet and feminine, but not a candy bomb. The cashmeran gives it a slight powdery vibe too, adding femininity. Like wine, dry is the opposite of sweet. I would not use that word with this fragrance.
I wore it fir you. It’s only spicy in the first 10 minutes. It’s a beautiful Sandalwood vanilla, sweet, powdery fragrance with undertones of cardamom. I don’t get “dry, woody, Spivey” at all!! Some people never smell past the first 5 minutes.
Interesting, I learned that what in Italy is called "confetti" (Sulmona is the Italian "capital" of them) it is also called Jordan almonds! Same uses. Hopefully I will find out the history of confetti/JA. Thanks Greta
Well now you have me wondering about the Profumum Roma perfume called Confetti! I just thought it meant candy, but Jordan almonds makes sense with the notes 😀
Yes. My new bottle of jasmins marzipane does not have the side panel. I’m so upset the bottle changed with no updates on the online photos. I sent emails back and forth. Lancome will not admit to changing the design. I feel like the one I sprayed on at the store was stronger.

Lancome took the side panel off the Jasmine Marzipans. I don’t like it. The side panel and front flower panel looks so elegant.
