Fix for anyone with "DHCP failed... APIPA is being used" Instead of switching to DHCP on PC1 and 2, stay on static. Manually copy his IPv4, Subnet mask, Gateway, and DNS Server addresses (they are greyed out when he switches to DHCP). This got me to read 100% completion.

hi sir. Can you show on how to create The LAN in one of university department consist of the following number of office and lab, each of which will require its own subnet:
Data Communication Lab : 20 nodes
Lecturer’s office : 30 nodes
Administration office : 25 nodes
All the subnets should be connected to the University’s library network with the network address 202.184.15.0. Assume there are 5 hosts available on the library’s network.
Identify the required networking devices to connect all the subnets together and from subnets to the library’s network.
Perform the following:
1. Plan and assign the appropriate IP addresses for all hosts on the network.
2. Implement static routing to the mentioned network.
3. Simulate the internetwork connectivity test by using Cisco Packet Tracer software.
a. Ping between hosts in the same subnet (3 hosts each subnet)
b. Ping from any two hosts of each subnet to any two host in library’s network.

I tried receiving the Ip addresses from a DCHP Server. PC2 was succesful , but PC1 wasn't .. It says: DHCP failed. APIPA is being used... What can I do to solve this?

when i try to re open the file that is just 80% not 100% but if trying to Ping addres pc2 will be 100%
