@@AnnaOnRoadsHi Anna, the second gen Touareg was replaced here by the US made VW Atlas in 2018. The Touareg hardly sold here over 2 generations and 15 years in the US market.
You used to be able to get it with front, center, and rear lockers for serious off-roading, like only a couple of other serious o-r vehicles. I would guess that is no longer offered.
Excellent review as always Anna. I looked at a 2yr old diesel R line Touareg when my Tiguan was in for service. I thought it was very reasonable at £42 when my Tiguan cost £39, wished I’d have paid the difference and traded up to be honest. 3.0 V6 would be perfect for towing a caravan where my 2.0 struggles.

Looks like this VW would be an ideal traveling companion on a long journey, albeit I'd prefer a non hybrid model. Must say you look very fashionable in your new coat.
Touareg has been one of my favorites when it comes to VW. Always love the way it drove and love all the new creature comforts. Another outstanding review, even when you started doing your best Vanna White imitation when you were showing off the large infotainment screen. 😉
Another great review Anna, I've always had a soft side for the Touareg since the first version but my this has changed beyond belief. I like that it's understated but still looks refined and elegant. The physical buttons and knobs are welcome as well. For the asking price I'll pass but for a used one in the future who knows. Brilliant production, editing and presentation as always. Thanks for sharing.
IMO If at least 20% less costly than Q7 then ok, but with the same price tag its a choice for those eccentric customers who just do not want to show off.
Definitely can hold its own with BMW, Mercedes, and Audi. A beautifully crafted luxury vehicle inside and out. A lot of bang for your buck. Great Review Anna.
Hi Anna! FINALLY test driving a real car that sounds. I agree with nice varnish. A big disadvantage of VW is their stinginess, they give bad prices for a trade-in car, very bad at bargaining and never offers on equipment you can get with cheap spare parts. When my father was going to change his car his car had done less than 3000 miles and almost only country wave driving. VW gave inge equipment with cheaper and the price was just rounded off to a paltry 289.79 Euro. They only offered 7133.30 Euro for his car. At Volvo they gave 8916.63 euros for dad's car, then the equipment dad would have including winter tires with rims, would cost 4458.31 euros but volvo had an offer so dad only paid 356.67 euros for the equipment. So VW has something to learn from Volvo to attract more customers, that's why Volvo sells best in Sweden.

I understand that you also have to replace electric cars, but now they are losing ground in Sweden, because fewer of these cars are sold and no one wants to buy used. Then I don't know if you know that Tesla in Sweden is in conflict with the union and has been for several months now. Elon Musk has banned the workers in Sweden are banned from joining unions and Elon Musk refuses to sign a collective agreement with the union. Those who work for Tesla in Sweden have the same insecurity as those who work in the USA. Anna I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things go well for you with fundraising. PS! I mean it is one of the worst climate environments to have an EV, batteries deteriorate much faster, it takes longer to charge and the range is significantly reduced. This model is out over 20 years, and this one looks like the first one, hmm not ideal, on the other hand Anna looks the same she did 20 years ago , so maybe being ageless is cool😜
He liked the Maybach GLS the most. With a V8, true that 🤣 Also the Focus ST (it stayed very warm!) He is normally very timid, so you would think EVs will be better for him but it doesn't seem to be the case. But actually I will speak about animals and EVs in one of my next videos, this is a very frustrating topic for me - animals are not used to EVs!
@@AnnaOnRoads even humans are not, my fiance has a Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid and it is amazing how many people (not only old) walk straight in front of the car when it is running in full electric mode in parking areas. I think they are quite dangerous in that regard. ⛽️ forever ♥️
