    Hi everyone! I tried using retinol for the first time and came back after 2 weeks of using it. It really made a difference to my skin texture.
    These retinol products are very mild, so I recommend them to first-time retinol users like me 🥰

    If you have sensitive skin, you should try 0.1% retinol. VI term has retinoid serum that is 0.1%. Once you can tolerate that, you can start using 0.5%, and then once your skin can tolerate that, start using 1%. It's a gradual process. I had to start off with 0.1% and my skin was always flaking. My skin became used to it, and now it doesn't flake at all. I am now using 1% retinol and my skin looks AMAZING

    I checked up your videos from 3 years ago and your skin was already very good. If you are Korean, chances are you already are very fair (like the Korean friends I have). Retinol is not necessary magic (I have used it before and at 48 I have amazing skin, not because of retinol but other products and religious skin routine). Real glass skin, just slap on some good moisturiser or serum and it will appear like you have glass skin since your skin foundation is already good.

    Hello ! I'm just wondering what is the age suitable to use retinol and do I need to wear the retinol serum at night or can I wear it outside with sunscreen on ? Would that make my face irritate ? And one more question can I put moisturizer on my eye because I keep getting eye infection so I wanna know if that was the cause

    • @krystallee
      @krystallee  10 місяців тому

      I would say early-mid 20s~ so no need to rush :) you should apply it at night and avoid using it in the morning. In fact, I cleanse it really well the next morning and put on lots of sunscreen before going outside! It can be irritating if you have really sensitive skin, so make sure to choose products with very small retinol percentage & test on your hands before putting it on your face!

    There has been some research from eye doctors that using Retin A on your face in general can cause painful and irreversible dry eye. I used Retin A for many years from about 32-48 and my eyes are now extremely dry and I have to use a prescription eye drop. Please weigh these possible side effects when choosing to use Retin A on the face. Even though it might not get into the eyes, it can still dry out the eyes.

    Watching here from Brasil🇧🇷.
    Help me with a question, please?. I started using this retinol from Some by Mi, I use it under my eyes and on my Chinese mustache. It didn't irritate my skin or burn, but it seems that after I started using it my fine lines are more marked and my Chinese mustache has gotten deeper. Is it normal for this rebound effect to occur in the first few weeks?. I didn't understand why it got worse.
