If you can deadlift 405 you can easily clean 315, as a general rule you can usually clean between 100-130 lbs less than whatever you deadlift if your form is worth a fuck. Which in this video only about like 5 of them had form worth a fucj
@Rachel Marie Taton yeah I totally agree, these people in the comment section talking trash about these dudes is annoying, but parallel and below parallel squats are actually very good for developing strength throughout the whole range of motion, paired with cleans and elastic activities like plyometrics and sports will work better than quarter squats for developing strength in jumping, although sprinting could be a different story, not too sure about that one. But I wouldn’t bother with quarter squats until you solidify yourself as a glute dominant athlete that can squat at least 2x body weight barely below parallel.

Okay no fucking way are these guys natural. You don't just squat/bench that much weight at such a young age, for 90% of people it takes YEARS (like 5-10+ years) of serious lifiting to even achieve those numbers. To everyone who thinks they are natural, use your brain. Yes they may have very good genetics, training, diet plans etc, but even then there is no way that they can achieve those numbers naturally in such a short space of time. They may not LOOK like they are on steroids, but there are lots of performance enhancing drugs that can improve your performance without drastically changing your muscle size. And if you think I'm being salty, I know lots of guys (natty guys) that have been lifting seriously for years and could only ever hope to achieve those numbers in their lifetime. I myself have been lifting for a few years, and I could only ever dream of achieving those numbers before I hit 30 lol (and I'm 22). Despite their questionable form, it's very fucking impressive their able to even LIFT the weights off the rack. Just remember college football is HIGHLY competitive, and there's no doubt that steroids are commonplace.
Plenty were done, they’re not technical weightlifters don’t hold them to the same standard. Parallel depth + rack = success for them. Late game fourth quarter, you’re tired, you can’t say “oh no, this isn’t perfect form; this isn’t right, might as well just give up if I can’t do it perfectly” and 3x red light yourself. You get benched for that. You have to let your mind carry you beyond physical limits and build a body that’s tough enough to survive it. Football has a much larger “all or nothing” effort tenant than powerlifting. They don’t care if it’s a bit ugly, don’t hold back and don’t be scared. Find a way to get the job done.

Yeah their form is not good, but like, most of the people commenting about the bad form either get their knowledge about weightlifting technique from YT videos or have an average/bellow average max rep in their weight category which identifies them as average people who do lifting to stay in shape etc. These guys on the other hand are considered athletes and they are trained by very knowledgeable coaches and other team staff members who most definitely know more about sports in general than your average guy in comments. Another thing i fail to find is where in the title it says this is a weightlifting team. This is a football team, yet everybody expects them to have the form of a weightlifter. There are probably many reasons why a perfect form is not too important in their weight training. Like for example everybody knows you need good mobility to be able to do clean and jerk and snatch, but too much mobility can actually hurt your lifts
You can get with sarms because most of the time it's a test for who's has steroids in there system instead of sarms. And can be notified ahead of time instead of surprised drug test which is done unexpectedly.
