Incredibly good headphones. I have no complaints with these headphones, other than the battery that only last around 5-6 hours. The sound is really great and so is the bass. These lasted for over a year, and could've lasted longer if not for my friend's kitten had played with them.
You can trust these. I’m very into sound/music, I’m super picky. I’ve had them for 5 months and have no complaints other than battery. Great sound quality So comfortable Go for it
Des could you do a roundup for tws headphones? I like the way you review headphones, and i find it quite un-biased and would love to get your recommendation on a good set of tws. I’d love to get your opinion on less mainstream (more on budget / bang for buck) workout headphones something like the QCY T1 pro. Kindly do the “shake / fallout” test thanks!
I’m still not sold on TWS in general. I tried the Bragis, Jabras, and a few others, both expensive and cheap and I think I’d rather have the better battery life and security of wired BT headphones for now. That could change.
Their warning against using a charger with >1A merely shows their marketing department don't understand electricity. The amount of current drawn is determined by the device, not the USB charging port. The rating on the charger is a maximum current that charger is rated to be able to provide if the device requests it. A device will only draw what it needs. Plugging a 1A device into a supply rated up to 20A is quite safe. If their device dies when plugged into a charger with a higher rating then their device is faulty.
A low capacity LithIon battery could draw more than 1A.... but doesn't mean it's good for it.. i.e. heat.... especially a cheap chinese unit. Might only get 100 cycle counts vs. 300, etc.
tengan cuidado no son completamente impermeables compre 2 y fallaron por que el sudor que entro hizo corto. pero los logre arreglar los destape y los limpie con alcohol isopropilico y volvieron a funcionar
thanks brotha, ended up buying them and absolutely love them. sooo much better than the standard ones and perfect for working out, never fall out and go super loud
They have 2 changes that are better...1 fit they are awesome no adjusting etc, 2 charging and battery life is awesome. 2hr chrg 8.5hrs of listeng at full volume Mp3 music(allthough sound quality was dizzmal)
one problem for some reason when im playing anything with audio the connection says connected: voice but not audio and the audio is still there but it has shit quality it was working fine a few weeks ago please help
How tho? I tried to skip a track with the volume button (as it says in the manual) but it DOESN’T. WORK. 😭 help This is the only thing that annoys me with these earbuds everything else is awesome helppp
I’ve only had these for about a month but they’ve held up fine. However I have a 2 year old set of older SoundPeats that my wife uses on a daily basis and they have held up fine.
Every time I have used earplugs they keep falling off. Did you find the fit pretty secure with these Des? I searched for this on Amazon but they must have a new model out for it but same price.
Link in the description. Not as secure as a Jaybird nor the Flyers, but very adequate as you may have seen in the demos. The light weight helps a lot with security.
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that I’ve actually been wearing the FitBit Flyers more so than my Jaybird Freedoms lately. They have a few design flaws in regards to cable orientation but I have found them to sound better and actually stay in my ears better with the wings. Check out the Flyer review video for more details.
DesFit maybe, but thing is the charger can only push over 1 amp if the device it self request it. If the device is locked at 1 amp input, it would not matter whether or not your charger is over 1 amp as it will only push 1amp to the device.
DISAPPOINTED. I prefer the Q7's Better sound between low mid highs teally good base. Q30 not lowd enuff and distortion heavy thru all freq. I downloded several Amplifier,Bass boost etc apps and although those apps work fantastic on Q7s it didnt helps these.....
I am a bit unconventional with the way I wear mine with the cord up front. If you use the cable management “thingies”, it should not be an issue with either front or rear cable routing, but will be even better from the back. The remote location is pretty much standard on most headphones and I have to say that it’s fairly light so you shouldn’t have an issue.
Hi I am looking for watch. I do mostly gym based work outs due to my job as a fire fighter. Been on call I can't get out much. But I want a watch that can do both. I am looking at the sunnto spartan wrist hr baro and the Garmin vivioactive 3 and the 935 and fenix 5. Which would you recommend. I want to be able to count my reps show vo2 max he max and zones cadence stride length etc
I'd get the fenix 5. It's not perfect but it's going to be the best and most durable option for you especially with your intensive job (which is awesome, by the way). The Suunto had a few too many issues for me to recommend it and the software on the phone is so-so. You'll probably wreck the VA3 and although the 935 is more durable, you won't get the durability of the 5-series.
Ok that's great. We are not permitted to wear watches when going into any sort of fire etc. Due to heat conduction. Metal watch could end hearing up on your wrist. It's happened me before. I love the fenix 5 looks amazing but love the look of the sunnto and the 935 and vivo.
The 935. I'm personally not a fan of touchscreens so much so that's makes me hesitate about the VA3. Didn't even think about the heat in regards to a watch but I suppose metal or plastic would not be wise in high heat. I am however reviewing some more options coming soon so stay tuned. One of them I am unboxing this afternoon and hope to have the video up today. No worries and hope you enjoy!
that's great I will watch that video. Yes it's difficult to decide due to my job which one. But I will look forward to your video. I do like your reviews I find them very detailed
Alright guys this is gonna sound dumb but like I can NOT figure out how to skip a track or go back one. It says in the manual you “short press” the volume button for this but what the hell does that mean? Anyone know that can help? Lmao thank you 😂
As always, your reviews are sure to rely on. I see that you're wearing the Wahoo Tickr Fit arm band and I assume the review for that is imminent. :) Btw, still feverishly waiting on the Apple Watch Series 3 third party apps (indoor and outdoor) review!.
Thanks so much! I was hoping for many 3rd party app updates that would include GPS tracks but hopefully I'll have those wrapped up soon. Yes! Tickr Fit review should be up within a week.
Thanks Desfit. I would like to place an order for the Wahoo Tickr Fit. Is it accurate when compared with the Polar H7 or any other chest strap during any fitness activity?
Thanks Desfit. Are you saying to not to buy the Wahoo Tickr Fit? When you say "strap is garbage" - are you referring to the chest strap? and also when you say the "HR works well" - are you referring to the Wahoo Tickr Fit arm band? Please advise.
Wahoo Tickr Fit arm band strap is junk. Falling apart after just 10 days of use. Plus, there isn't anything justifying it's $80 price tag compared to the Scosche, other than the battery life.
The sound quality is garbage on these. I also have to have it maxed volume and no I am not old and deaf. Forget about wearing these while mowing the lawn or something else that has a lot of noise as it will drown it out. The mic died on me after about 6 months. I will add that the next model, the Q 30 plus did have a significant improvement on the volume as I couldn't even put it over 80% without blasting my ears out.
I live at around 5,000 feet in Colorado but have lived here most of my life. However, when I do train at altitudes over 8,000 feet, I can absolutely feel the difference. Funny enough, when I travel to lower elevations, I don't turn into Superman ;) I wish I felt more of a difference but everyone is different.
DesFit i see your reviews you do 8 miles run, 4 hr cycling plus gym based exercise. I cant imagine how fit are you why did you not go in army or sports.Basically can u share me your exercise and diet plan.
I've been an athlete my entire life so I'm used to that level of activity. My main focus is endurance events but I also weight train consistently for both strength and injury prevention. Then I do other fun stuff like rock climbing and paddleboarding just to mix things up. Check out some of my earlier videos on Intermittent Fasting for more details about my eating schedule (it's not a diet, simply an eating pattern.)
Thank you so much for doing a review on these Bluetooth headsets. I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to finally do a good review on them.
Sure thing.
Incredibly good headphones. I have no complaints with these headphones, other than the battery that only last around 5-6 hours. The sound is really great and so is the bass. These lasted for over a year, and could've lasted longer if not for my friend's kitten had played with them.
Amazing pair of bluetooth earbuds. Only outlasted me when I lost it. I had it for 1 year
You can trust these. I’m very into sound/music, I’m super picky. I’ve had them for 5 months and have no complaints other than battery.
Great sound quality
So comfortable
Go for it
How long do they last? Thanks
Do the Q30 support low latency in aptx mode?
what's about the bass
hey, how is it compared to Anker Soundbuds Slim+ ?
Had them for 9 months before one side stopped working. Great sound quality would buy again for sure.

just ordered them!

Nice and neat review. Thanks
Sure thing!

Microphone....?
Definately gonna buy these. Gonna buy the Samsung gear sport, and I want a pair of cheap, but good headphones for running/fitness. Thanks Des!
👍
Do they break easily after a month of use??
They are still holding strong about 3-4 months in. Wish the cord was much shorter but I’m surprised by the durability so far.
They also replace them if you send them in. For free.
How do these sound in comparison to the apple headphones that come with the iPhone? Thanks for the review
Jack M. These are way better than any stock earbuds.
thanks brotha, ended up buying them and absolutely love them. sooo much better than the standard ones and perfect for working out, never fall out and go super loud

is soundpeats q30 led light always blinking after pair???
one problem for some reason when im playing anything with audio the connection says connected: voice but not audio and the audio is still there but it has shit quality it was working fine a few weeks ago please help
Do these stick out of your ears too much if you have small ears?
They do stick out a bit.
I bought them 2 days ago but i noticed some faint cracking noises in some songs
Definitely look into exchanging them. A big plus for Amazon.
Of you climb in them behind the neck is the best even if you fall it stays in and nothing gets in your way
Thank you 😊🤗🤗🤗🤗
The code in the description doesn't work, can I get some help on this?
I got it and it sucks the songs keep dropping or breaks apart what a waste of money
Can the buttons be used as a skip feature
yup.
DesFit Cool, thanks literally buying these rn
Hope you enjoy!
How tho? I tried to skip a track with the volume button (as it says in the manual) but it DOESN’T. WORK. 😭 help
This is the only thing that annoys me with these earbuds everything else is awesome helppp
Do you have white noise with these? I've ordered them and got white noise in background all the time (not much loud)
Hey ! I'm looking into buying one of these but I want your honest opinion, will they last or will the battery die after a few months?
I’ve only had these for about a month but they’ve held up fine. However I have a 2 year old set of older SoundPeats that my wife uses on a daily basis and they have held up fine.

DesFit Thanks Des. Which Jaybirds do you recommend?
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that I’ve actually been wearing the FitBit Flyers more so than my Jaybird Freedoms lately. They have a few design flaws in regards to cable orientation but I have found them to sound better and actually stay in my ears better with the wings. DesFit Will do. Thanks!
...One other note,i dont like the Vol/+/-/funtion and mic on earbud wire, too heavy ,cumberson.
I use a 2 amp charger for these and they are still perfectly fine. What's their reason for suggesting to use only 1amp chargers?
No idea, those were the specs on the spec sheet. Could just be a safety precaution.
DesFit maybe, but thing is the charger can only push over 1 amp if the device it self request it. If the device is locked at 1 amp input, it would not matter whether or not your charger is over 1 amp as it will only push 1amp to the device.
Yup, exactly. Glad it’s working for you!
DesFit thanks for the review! It's very in-depth.
Is the remote a problem as it's a piece that swings around as you run?
I am a bit unconventional with the way I wear mine with the cord up front. If you use the cable management “thingies”, it should not be an issue with either front or rear cable routing, but will be even better from the back. The remote location is pretty much standard on most headphones and I have to say that it’s fairly light so you shouldn’t have an issue.
What's the volume like for this earbuds vs Sony in ear buds?
The volume is garbage. about a third of what you get on the wired iphone ear buds.
How do you charge these? Computer usb ports?
Wish De Castro any USB port
..im gonna buy q7.
Does it pair with the fitbit ionic without any issues ...?
They pair just fine to the Ionic along with any other pair of Bluetooth headphones. 👍

Yo do u have to use these with the cord hanging in the back . Can u have the cord hanging in the front of your neck?
Of course you can but it defeats the purpose of having the magnetic tips which come together to act as a necklace when not in use.
The discount code in the description does not work. Do you have a different code we can use?
Let me check with the distributer and see what's up with that. I've removed it for the moment. Sorry about that!
No worries! Thanks.
DesFit do you have one rn?😂
To of the homies wear them 24 7 at my school
Aidan Swenson you’re at school 24/7? The “homies” are too?

Hi D.
Does Thise come with Line buckle/clamp so Theo Can be Worning over the ear and dit snug to the back of the head?
0:45 “thingies”? 😂 Is that what you’re curious about?
DesFit exactly. Think you.
What do your rate out of 10 regarding bass?
Probably like a 6/10
so much distortion in high volume

*WHY DOES NO ONE EVER INCLUDE MIC TEST WITH WIRELESS INEAR REVIEWS. Bs UA-camrs!*
Izzy Shki shut up
Cause they don’t really matter, especially for budget. They’re not made for singers, UA-camrs, or gamers.
The sound quality is garbage on these. I also have to have it maxed volume and no I am not old and deaf. My only gripe is the earphones protrude too far out. Looks really weird wearing it.... Otherwise sound quality is very good for the price.
