I saw that you were in a video talking with the guy from the Red Delta Project channel, and he reviewed the Innodigym P1 platform that goes up to 160 lbs. They also have a platform that does up to 330 lbs for around $1800 that looks similar to the Vitruvian. It looks like something that would work for me, but there’s not a lot of information/reviews on it.
@@mikeg9364 yes, that company also reached out to me for a review, but I just never got back to them. Plus I think at least for me. They wanted to do a promotional paid review and I (so far) don’t do that. I am personally am a big fan of the E gym platforms, but again, the question is how longlong they’ll last.
The struggle with getting bored with my workouts and having to change up my regimen often sucks! Severe ADHD added is killer. Great point in the video thou about how some of us do struggle and get bored
Plastic made adjustable dumbbells I would not trust. I broke a pair. Those bells are all plastic inside. The iron masters I think are the best, God bless bro,
Excellent run down video Mike, always appreciate your POV. Just ordered a Harambe kit and dropped the old SBT code in for 10% off. Thanks again for pouring your passion into these videos.
great choices of equipment mike, but i agree that leverage gym is a must have for me!sissy squat, landmine movements have been golden, dumbells, total gym of course, plus my diy x3 and bands,yr setup is top notch mike, great review as always💯
I picked up a used weider total bodyworks in good shape from Facebook marketplace last week for 60$ I like that speediance, but a big investment. Those newer total gyms are pretty pricey, too.
Ordered the Vulken straps and will use them with my Clench footplate. I think I will be able to attach a Fuzion or Klau Hanging Scale (660lb capacity) to measure my force. UPDATE: the setup with the Vulken straps, Clench footplate, and Klau scale works perfectly. Press hold on the Klau scale and it will record your isometric effort in pounds or kilos. The setup is a lot less money than the isomax, and since it runs on AAA batteries, no worries about the isomax rechargeable battery dying, leaving you with a nonfunctional device.
Personally tempted by the Motion Space S1 platform which offers 265lbs resistance. For me I prefer the slightly more resistance and the smaller form factor of that machine, also can be used without an app (useful for these news companies if they go under) and your 20% discount code take a huge chunk off the price. Would end up near half the price of the Speedience for me in after import taxes
Really appreciate your channel it's helped me think outside the box. Had the original IsoChain loved the workout but hated how the platform bends and the chain was a bit of a pita. Stoked now to try the updated bar with Vulcan straps and a Harambe T-Plate! 😎@@hybridresistance
Hi Mike a NOSSk Pulley suspension trainer or any of their other trainers would be a great budget friendly pick. Way cheaper and better than that other name brand suspension trainer everyone knows.
I discovered your channel because of it being on the Speediance website. I've checked out a bunch of your videos in the past couple days. You have an awesome channel, and it's pretty informative and inspirational, and most important to me, feels authentic and shows a lot of practical demonstrations. (I wonder if my parents still have their Total Gym in the back of the garage, and if I can convince them to pull it back out.) If my Speediance fails much sooner than I was expecting, I am going to be keeping these options in mind.
Thanks so much for sharing all of that information and for the positive feedback. It’s always really good to know how people discover the channel and to learn what they want to see. In the future as a new subscriber, I’d love to hear feedback on what kind of things you’d like to see. Thanks again.
Let's face it. Guys like toys, and having a lot of different equipment is fun, and good for variety. I like all of your choices. And yes, you need an Echo bike!
Surprised that if you aren’t wanting a bench with multiple attachments that you don’t go with powertec or ironmaster. Ironmaster super bench is now at the 17.2 inch height so it’s competition height. The powertec has a lot of useful attachments as well. As for dumbbells the Trulap ones have smaller jumps in weight and are extremely accurate in weight. As for just benches REP has discounts ending today(?) but REP is the absolute go-to for adjustable or flat benches.
I have seen some of those for sure. The buzz saw just looks really solid / heavy and hit what I wanted. Basically a big bench that had a knee extension attachment.
I f you had the ER Kang wall mount weighted cable pulley and the Bells of Steel side by side, which would you choose to workout on? B of S, correct? But if you were given $500 to just work out on the ER Kang, would you choose that?
Hi, I was almost sold on the Speediance, but it's around $4k in Canada. I went with the Isomax instead. Have you heard of the TUT Trainer? It's like a semi-portable single cable trainer that uses proprietary resistance bands and lets you do exercises where you can pull down. Curious what your thoughts are if you happen to check it out.
I’ll keep you posted. Really depends on all the toys I mess around with but this is definitely in my top three devices. I’ve been using since I got it.
That's cool, I got an Inspire FT1 functional trainer that I love, but I could use the space saving that the Speediance give, but of course.. if the Speediance machines doesn't last too long, it ain't worth. And as it's still pretty new, we'll have to see.@@hybridresistance
Hi again, Still enjoying my Total Gym Fit Plus at age 56 after a bad fall that broke my back 2.5 years or so ago. Have added a bit of free weights, but thinking of resistance bands along with the TG. This after a layoff with a badly broken right hand. Physio introduced me to the Theraband Physio bands, then I have seen both loop and tube style bands in your videos.I know of Torroband, Body Elastics, Bob & Brad, and the heavier duty X-3, etc. What other quality Tube Style bands are there? Amazon is saturated with so many cheapos (I watched your video on that as well). I also wonder what I really need as I am lightly training on the TG and want to steer away from free weights due to other health issues. Torroband looks great. but seems a bit much resistance for me? Not sure. I yet struggle with joint and mobility issues (though I no longer fall!). I really like the idea of resistance bands with the TG...both loop and tube style, and with a bar. I am still shopping around and trying to make a decision. I do want quality. Thanks again for the great videos and info.
@@josephvendetti1330 Thanks, though I am in Canada in the Yukon Territory. They are $100 CAD on Amazon Canada and does not include the Green Tube (Tube Style). I did find them on eBay (with the Green tube) for $80 CAD or so shipped, but will take a month or more to get here. The Loop style is $47 CAD on Amazon Canada. Bob and Brad's website say they will not ship to Canada? Considering them, though.
I'm 65 and use a Total Gym G5 and Dip/ Pull Up Stand. Total investment of $550.00. Down 25 lbs since March of 23. Diet, Dedication & HIT training is working for me.
Let me know what you’re seeing or picking up. I got a short list that’s growing. All links and promo codes can be found in the video description.

I love my total gym! I 77 now and it has kept me in good condition for many years and it’s easy on your tendons 😎
I had more details on this along the lines what you're saying, but I edited it out for the sake of time. Thanks for sharing that.
Of all the fitness items you've reviewed, my favourites were Total Gym Fit and that cool compact red home gym!
Have a great Thanksgiving, Mike!
Thanks Jay, I think you mean the Lever Gym. That is a solid machine

I'm sure I got some undiagnosed version of it. Exercise seems to be magic since my youth in calming my brain.
Always feel your reviews are very honest. Appreciated! That is why I ways watch you!
Thanks so much.

@SlidingBenchTrainer absolutely, love that machine!

I’m using my leverage gym like crazy. I personally like the fact that I can hit a failure I couldn’t hit before using free weights.
My next video will feature it. It is awesome, just got too many good stuff all at once.

This year i upgraded to the powerblock Elite EXP 90’s and got a Rep Open Trap Bar. Great additions to my total gym
I have been eyeing a trap bar as well.

The q factor on the Echo bike is terrible. Schwinn AD7 is better.

why don't u design a band machine
If you have no space and no time, get the x3 + some serious steel 32” bands for chest and a small serious steel band saver.
Another solid recommendation.

I haven't tried the bos one, but I'm sure it's better just more expensive. I honestly could get by with either.
What do you think of the Eisenlink adjustable dumbbells from Amazon?
Those look good, but I personally prefer the "quick change" dbs and if I was going this route, I'd probably spend more $ to get the Ironmasters
