This was, and probably still is, my favorite iteration of the Mega Man universe. The lore is actually interesting. The setting is relatively grounded and human feeling. Characters were neat. Voice acting was a fun addition. I'll never forgive Capcom for killing Legends 3. lol
Not to mention npcs are always changing places and getting new dialogue after every mission, with mini stories happening in the background. The world really feels alive if a player sets to explore every corner.
loved this series... wasnt' a big fan of the megaman triggers VA change from game 1 to a woman's voice in game 2, but I loved the little characters (esp fun villians like the bonnes)
This game had it all - action, adventure, comedy, sea battles, air battles, even skiing! I remember looking for every crack in the wall in the whole game and digging so much.
This was one of the games I had when I was too young and dumb to play video games lol this brings back memories, now I know whats past the first 20 mins of the game
I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. SO. MUCH. I like both of them, and the second one is a bit cooler to me, but I do love the first one. I played the hell out of it when I was younger.
"Rip headphone users, you're gonna 'love' this screech" Megaman Legends 1/2 are probably my favorite games of all time, That screech is nothing. NOTHING! I've LIVED that screech.
Patrick Hougardy stupid decisions plus capcom hasnt died just because some franchises sell themselves. Else they would have died ages ago even if oxygen were free
I actually got a few ideas for a new megaman expanding on the RPG elements from legends (maybe I could turn it into a new original game with robots if I learn to program later on). I still wish we could see a new legends tho.
Remember trying to get 100% in every playthrough and beating the game more than 20 times, because a rumor in our school says that if you beat the game 7 times in a row you can unlock the second island and get the true ending, instead of the to be continued... ending
2000 was when I first got my hands on the game when I was a little toddler. My first game. Yeah, it surely wasn't the game of critical acclaim, but the thought that this game today is able to generate funding for a great cause tickles my nostalgia even more. It introduced me to the realm of games. And to this day this Blue Bomber who's stuck on the moon still accompanies my memory throughout the gaming medium. Bless BlueMetal for this run.
I absolutely love these games. And honestly with the amount of people saying the same in the comments, shame on Capcom for never making a 3rd. Apparently Capcom isn't interested in keeping fans happy.
you guys should use the "up next" and "on deck" parts where it's not the current runner to link THOSE videos for those of us who don't want to type it out and hunt it down
looks like they touched up that little seam in the NTSC version at 24:35, 'cause I cannot go through no matter how many times I kick those goofy idiot robuts.
The wall is glitched a bit in that one spot and if you go fast enough at it then you can fall through and fall into another part of the map. Usually only jet skates have the speed to get through, but they found out that when you kick something, megaman goes backwards at the same speed as jet skates for a second, so they kicked a reaverbot and fell through the glitched wall to get into the next ruins early and skip a small section before it. You can do it on the n64 version, too! I managed to beat the game in under an hour too, but on easy mode :P
I'll answer your question, with another question. Do you think she brought an oven and fresh ingredients on a boat, and had time to cook and monitor Volnutt's position? ( ͡°╭͜ʖ╮͡° )
She knows how a sonar works. except ur on the top half of a submarine moving around and she is on the bottom half which is underwater. also they are above is is a saying meaning that they are basically ontop of them.
Oh, late reply but he meant sonar detects water-ping, and those airships are most certainly not in the water or subsequently showing up on sonar pings. That'd be radar, detecting air-pings.

This is one of my favorite games of all TIME. Thanks for speed running it!

I was unfortunate enough to play the N64 version first
if memory serves, it was basically only the first 1/2 of the game.
😧
Man I loved this series. It was just so much fun to play. Felt great

Capcom, why is there no Megaman Legends 3?!?!?!?!
Money, they have none.
they have the money they make poor choices is the issue
Patrick Hougardy
stupid decisions plus capcom hasnt died just because some franchises sell themselves. Else they would have died ages ago even if oxygen were free
This series didn't sell very well, and they seemed to hardly wish to continue Mega Man in general.
These days if Capcom can't sell you half the characters seperately and advertise in game they don't seem too interested in making something.
I never knew you could steal the money and become Dark Mega Man.
"Is the crowd out there ready for some megaman legends?"
"..."
G'reat...
That's the reason there's no MML3
The nostalgia! I love this game finished it like 10x
Great to see Dave Mustaine is a fan of Megaman Legends.
IT REALLY DOES LOOK LIKE HIM
Hello me, meet the real me.
Legends was always a lot of fun, shame we never did get a 3.

What a great game, thanks for running it bluemetal and thanks for hosting this game at GDQ!
i played this when i was 10, and it was HARD! im amazed to see you guys just destroy it, great job!
voice to low >.< can barely hear at max volume
Great game, great run, great commentary. Run MML2 next time!
I didn't expect you to run this man! Good run!
Been waiting for this game to be in AGDQ!

Dude cuddling with his gf on stream in the beginning lmao
Those sweethearts ❤
One of my favorite games. Great run!
God, I fucking loved this game so much. I sucked at it, but it just entranced me.
for all curious minds, 41:13 yes, it is still a pie. あんずのパイ作っておいてあるから = i made an apricot pie. the most important question.
Man I was thinking about doing a bad guy run but there's no way I wouldn't feel bad for the servbots just trying to open their bakery
Oh hell. I had never really thought about it before. They're right. You're sinking all of Wily's boats.
If Bluemetal needs any motivation during the run, all he has to do is BOlieve! "I don't like that I understand that reference.." hahahaha
LOL at the dog
I wish they would port the game with analog camera controls...

I didn't even know about the armor getting darker because of immoral choices lol

OMG!!!LEGENDS/DASH Series!?

This series could easily have 3 more games on the PS2, but it didn't happen.
I also want to know the IGT in comparison to my PB, and relative to the RTM.
The volume control of this video is almost as bad as the volume on this game's cutscenes
OMFG YES
why are the katamari and melee runs missing after this?
what happened in the 24th minute? was that a glitch? can somebody explain?

Anybody know what the in game time ended up being?
OH MY GOD I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD KICK PAPRIKA XD THATS GENIUS BUT SO WRONG AT THE SAME TIME LMAO
Is it Apricot Pie or was it a clever way to conceal asking Rockman to bone down? Her hair color is roughly the color of Apricot Pie.
I'll answer your question, with another question. Do you think she brought an oven and fresh ingredients on a boat, and had time to cook and monitor Volnutt's position? ( ͡°╭͜ʖ╮͡° )
59:07 Kobe the legend on megaman legend rip
The GH players with long hair.
Why did the timer stop at 51:59, then drop 2 seconds? Which one was valid?
Youa Numbah Oneah Racist They go by the in game time
A human is controlling the timer and humans make mistakes.
They accidentally didn't stop the timer on time and it had 2 extra seconds on the clock that shouldn't be there.

I could never figure out what the hell to do in this game as a kid
why does this say it was released for psx? i thought legends was for ps1/psone?

wtf is up with the weird people in the front row....

Shouldnt be considered a legends speedrun since theres stuff you can do on here you cant in NA version
Worst Megaman game ever.
Lol. The bait didn't work.
