    Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:
    Makes: 12
    ½ cup butter, softened (microwave for 10 seconds if needed)
    1 cup of sugar ( ½ cup brown, ½ cup white)- (adjust as needed)
    1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    Pinch of sea salt ( ¼ tsp)
    1 egg
    ½ tsp vanilla flavor
    ½ tsp baking soda (use 1 tsp of hot water to dissolve)
    1 cup mini chocolate chips (your choice: semi-sweet, milk chocolate, dark chocolate)
    Optional: cinnamon, walnuts, almonds
    Instructions:
    1) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C)
    2) Using a stand mixer, hand mixer, or by hand: Cream together butter and sugar. Then add the egg.
    3) Slowly add remainder of ingredients: the dissolved baking soda, flour, salt, vanilla
    4) If using a mixer, remove bowl from mixer, and fold in chocolate chips with a spatula
    5) Scoop out spoonful of dough, separated about 1 inch onto baking pan. Use cooking spray if needed.
    6) Bake for about 10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown
    7) Enjoy!
