Your thumb is turning purple... Please anyone watching this. Do Not Put it that tight. If your thumb starts changing color you wrapped it too tight.
To help keep circulation and not have the tape too tight, you should cut the tape each time you have finished a rotation... I believe you are taping too much at once and thus cutting off circulation...
I’m 13 and thought that was normal so thank you. I feel better now
My thumb was already purple. I sprained it that bad
@@ravs6003 sorry about your thumb but that made me LOL
I was just looking at his thumb change color and thinking is that supposed to happen?
I have rheumatoid arthritis and my thumb joint has been destroyed. A few days ago, my thumb became dislocated. I have been able to put it back into place until today, so I used your taping technique to wrap my thumb securely until I can get to my appt next week. I’ll be needing a thumb fusion at this point.
Thank you so much for explaining and showing it so well. I’ve been in excruciating pain all day and it feels much better now. 👏🏻👏🏻😊
This really helped! I appreciate it!
Thanks for the feedback we are glad you found it helpful
Thanks, I really didn’t want to go to the doctor’s over this :)
This will help, thank you so much. I will also come back to this for sleepy time. Your voice is very soothing, infact my thumb feels better already.
Thank's a lot - this easy way works for me all right, after meeting a wall by bike ;)
Instant relief,thank you
Thanks for your feedback
This is great and easy to understand, hopefully it works for dirt bikes! Here’s an ironic 👍
Same, just had a bike fall, handle bars hit concrete I never let go
Worked a treat thankyou!
So glad you found it helpful!
My neighbour needed a video so I clicked this and it really helped!
Thanks Clare we’re glad they found it helpful
Now that you’ve isolated it and cut off the blood flow all that’s left is to cut it off.
I don’t have that thing I’m literally using bandages
Thanks a lot bruh
Thanks @Guru Prakash 🙏🏻
What kind of tape are you using?
Hi Joshua I use a combination of 25 mm elastic adhesive bandage and I think it is 8mm rigid
Personally I just use 38 mm rigid and tear it to width
What type of tape is the first layer?
25mm elastic adhesive bandage
@@BodyFitPhysiotherapy is it the same as self - adhesive bandage? If so can I use that instead?
If anyone is looking to have additional wrist support you can try this taping variation ua-cam.com/video/2ni8VkKtdfA/v-deo.html
Which tape it is
25mm elastic adhesive bandage and 10mm ridged to reinforce it
What if you don't have tape?
As an alternative you could use a brace like a thumb spica other than that I don’t believe you can get the needed support from crepe bandage
@@BodyFitPhysiotherapy Thanks. Is it okay if you stick the thumb to an icecream stick and wrap it in bandages?
@@federalreserveofshitposts2514 that’s not the best option from my opinion
So is his its too tight
Sorry I don’t quite understand the question. Are you asking if the tape in the video is too tight
Yes. The guy wrapping did it to tight. Your thumb should not turn purple like that
Wah.. His thumb is turning purple.. 🤔🤨🤣
My thumb was losing circulation when I tried this
Hi Stephanie your thumb should never loose circulation this means you have done it too tight. I hop that helps
Taping is too tight, no capillary refil check post technique.
I wished I knew about this when my thumb was broken
