For anybody buying- You'll probably see this mentioned, but be aware there are 30 and 40-pin versions of that screen. Also, it seemed like very few even mention the matte finish version, but it is out there. When I ordered my glossy, I asked, and the people said "Oh yeah, we have those.", so I switched. There are arguments for and against both types, but I mainly want to be able to read on it. The viewing angle seems tighter, but when you view from dead-on, it doesn't have the washed out look people gripe about.

Hey. My G50 has vertical lines along the middle of the screen. Should I replace the cable or the screen itself? I have tried clamping the flex cable at the bottom part of the middle section of the screen and worked for a few months before slowly deteriorating.

Hey, I followed these steps and replaced screen on my Lenovo G40-45 and it is working but when i open or close the Lid. The screen flickers for few seconds and then becomes Normal any solution for this issue?

Hi my lenovo g50 screen is working fine except it now has a pink tint. External screens work perfectly with no tint. Would this be a screen replacement or a new bulb or something with hardware? Hope you can help thank you
Richard Lester the backlight is part of the panel. I think you need a new screen.

Screen Surgeons I ordered the screen that was on the link in the description but it arrived to me the Lenovo ideapad g580, not the Lenovo g50-80. Can I resend it to you and have a refund.
What this video DOESN'T tell you is that all of the tabs on the bezel will break when you remove the bezel. The front bezel and back side of your case will both be junk by the time you finish removing the bezel.
I ended up with a bunch of little plastic pieces from the removal of the bezel
now it wont stick again
