    I was perfectly calm watching you move Linda….except for the bridge with the rivets where once again you put your hand 🤚 between the the mast and the bridge. Credit for wearing a glove, I guess.
    Dear God it runs in the family. Does he do table saws also??? I will stack the wood but hire someone to cut it and generally leave as I don’t want them to cut their eye out. 🤣😂😅 Love the appearance of Tom. Amazing as usual. Loved it ❤. 😊🤗 Kathy

      I was thinking of you when I was editing and saw my hand. I don’t have any recollection of putting my hand there!😂😂😂
      Dad has since adapted his system and now has a frame to stack the logs before he cuts them. 😂
      Even he thinks he’s pushing the boundaries!😬🙄😂

Your father is amazing, he is in great shape and I am relieved, as I am sure you and your family is that he has set up a safer way of cutting the fire wood. Take care! 😊🤗 Kathy

    Love watching your video's! But I always get worried when you keep a hand on the mast when passing under a bridge... like you want to protect the mast from scratching? Better sand a paint a scratched mast then doing with only one hand I would think... 20 tons of steel can do a lot of damage... So please keep all 10 fingers alive so we can enjoy more of your video's!

    I’m all for a white deckhouse but you should paint the deck and anywhere you have to walk dark grey or black.
    Just my not so humble opinion.😊
    I think your Dad and I think a like. That was perfectly safe.

    • @canicebannon
      @canicebannon  2 роки тому

      The aft deck should be copper blue. The reason is, that in the old days wooden equivalent of these boat had a copper aft deck. This was the luxury option. However, the cheaper option was to paint your deck copper blue…. The main reason for the white is to reduce the temperature below deck. It was obscenely hot in there over the summer.
      I agree, dad was perfectly safe!

    • @TheeuwesdeJong
      @TheeuwesdeJong 2 роки тому

      Nope, the deck needs a mop now and then. White is good.

    To delay, prevent the destruction to the flag caused by the constant cracking in the wind. Add a “Snap Strip”
    A snap strip is a piece of net curtain about 3-4 inches long on the trailing edge and is sacrificial. It stops the wind cracking the flag and is virtually invisible when in use.
    You could get the captain to sew it on for you 😂

    • @canicebannon
      @canicebannon  2 роки тому

      Hahahaha! Yes the Sea Captain will definitely doing that!
      It is getting worse. As the wind changes direction it gets caught up in the guide wires and get pulled off when the wind changes again!
      They’re only a fiver!😂
