I commented on the original video before but in Japanese the nurse girl probably said the word “kirei” which can be translated as either “pretty” or “clean” depending on the context. So nurse girl says he looks “kirei” or “clean” but he misinterpreted it as “pretty” initially.

Hopefully it's soon because UA-cam has been spoiling things for me through recommendation thumbnails etc. I wont spoil, but I already know there's art of a certain character holding a certain something..(you'll know if you've seen it) and it sucks having moments like that taken away when you're not even looking into it.

Gosh, I do not miss this game's writing. I dread the day they come back to it, but also, I love hearing them make fun of it.
A lot of Japanese developed visual novels (and I guess a lot of anime) are like this for some reason. Same with Ace Attorney although they manage to mask it better during translation.
Still fun games, though.

@@gamefreakin Since murder mystery VN's depend entirely on making sure all the clues are conveyed to the player, translators are probably very reticent to make any creative changes to the dialogue that aren't absolutely necessary, for fear that they might accidentally remove a clue.
Well, get used to it because they're playing this game to completion.

It's really not. It's a really great game and Arin is being EXTREMELY unfair towards it. I assume you never played the game and are just using these videos to base your opinion on. If you actually played the game then you'd understand just how great Danganronpa can be.

Man, those two minutes alone were hard to watch. I personally can’t stand their playthough of either Danganronpa. Not because of the grumps, but because the games are so terribly bad.

I don't know how the anime compares to the game because I haven't watched them, but the games seem a bit pointless and shite. I don't know why the writing is so repetitive and shite, I figured maybe it happened in translation? I think it does get a little frustrating the way Dan and Arin make the already drawn-out scenes longer by making a 10 second joke after every slide of dialogue, and then complain about how drawn out it is. But I enjoy watching the gameplay, it may be enjoyable for more people if it were just the gameplay and not a letsplay with commentary and jokes. But since I also like the GameGrumps, I'm in this weird love-hate relationship with these series where I still choose to watch it despite sometimes getting frustrated.
@@Xarazel it’s not imaginary toxic fans. Before they announced they were taking a break, the Danganronpa people were losing their shit. Just look at the videos with Flamingo and every comment is basically “wha, wha we want Danganronpa and we’re going to complain”. Also, I voiced an opinion that Danganronpa is a bad series. Arin has even said he doesn’t like Danganronpa. I’d rather see them play games they enjoy than slog through a terrible, poorly written, repetitive, crappy games just to make people happy.
These games are so beyond stupid
I hope they're just waiting for arin to not be sick anymore to pick this back up and they haven't just forgotten ding dang rumples
