The Big Bang Theory created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes over 12 seasons.
The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny (Kaley Cuoco), a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar). And the added part was the 'additional strike...and Howard saying "what are you complaining about. I am the one that has to take the class again." Makes you wonder he did....knowing Sheldon isn't fond of Howard it wouldn't be much.

My favorite thing about Sheldon constantly changing the wi-fi password on Penny is even he always gives her the new one.

Earlier in the episode, the guys revealed one can either wait a year for the strikes to be rescinded or one can take Sheldon’s class to get have the strikes removed earlier.
Love how Leonard and Penny’s evil plan became a joyride for Sheldon and Amy and ended with them being miserable. 😂

I’m surprised they haven’t done this once to Sheldon. Penny I get because she doesn’t have it in the first place, but Leonard should have access to the wifi account.
It would almost certainly be a violation of the Roommate Agreement and not worth the cost to then appease Sheldon.
@@christianboehlefeld5168 actually not necessarily. If you recall Sheldon was the original tenant and the one subletting to Leonard. Given his controlling nature I’m sure that it was Sheldon’s Wi-Fi that Leonard does pay in part for per roommate agreement. There must be a clause that gives Sheldon the right to change the password at will.
they KNOW the password, but they don't know the router admin password, so no changey the password besides sheldon.

The interesting thing about Sheldon and Penny is that in general, Sheldon will go out of his way to avoid people, especially those he doesn't care for and even more for those he hates.
Yet Penny, he engage in the, granted, often most unhealthy ways, right from the start. It's only in later seasons, his interactions with her turned from seeking antagony to genuine care.
But he always sought out contact with her. He always liked her.

I hate some of Sheldon's behaviour most of the times but on those cases he was absolutly right. She touches somebody's plate, and that's rude. She eats for free mor times than i can count and only considered thanking them for that once or twice, she refuses to admit she is wrong and to apologize about it and the way she is "punished" is by no longer having the right to vampirise their wifi too ? Penny is the worst sometimes.
And when she is not taking advantage without asking, Sheldon can be pretty generous. Remember that time when Penny didn't have enough money for rent, and he casually went to his store of cash and handed her what she needed. He wasn't even condescending about it. She needed it, he had it, okay then.
Shes used to getting away with things because she's hot.
May be that is why she is named "penny"

Whenever sheldon changes the password now it always has penny's name in it.
Does anyone else find it wierd that it was Sheldon's apartment in the first place when he subletted to Leonard, and then Penny moved in and he got kicked out to the smaller apartment? I kind of always felt that since Penny had her own apartment, maybe Leonard should have moved in with her.
I think that's to force Sheldon to share the bedroom with Amy.
They had a whole discussion about how Sheldon needs a neutral ground for the "Five week experiment" with Amy. So Penny suggested the move.
He didn't get "kicked out", Sheldon and Amy moved there temporarily when her apartment had some water damage and somehow they kept it that way, it really is a bit weird that way round but ...why not?!
@@DerEchteBold Mostly its because I feel that Sheldon had the bigger and better apartment with his name on the lease, where he also lived much longer than Leonard. Maybe I am just being petty, but I think that if I was in that situation, I would care about stuff like that. It would almost feel to me that my guests have kicked me out of my own home. I don't know, maybe I am just underestimating the power of friendship. I know about the circumstances that led Sheldon and Amy to live temporarily in Penny's apartment, but I would really hesitate before making it permanent in those conditions, it really felt coerced.

Do they not get that the router has a reset button on it. You can also press the button to instantly connect a device with no password.
not with ours unless they know the default one which is on a sticker they can easily take off :/
@janeswurld are you sure? Most routers have a small reset switch that puts the router back to default which is printed on the bottom. Also you can get into the router to mess with its settings by typing in its ip address. When you reset it it also resets the routers password to admin admin so you can change all the sht. When I was like 14 I lived in a apartment and everybody had open networks because wireless was still relatively new and people didn't think to lock them. Ide always change the network names to horrible names like Penis Net. And I would just laugh and and laugh because it was so funny thinking about them connecting to penis net. Their were some others but I'm not going to write them here 😆

One thing I always wondered, why did they just change the wifi password. You'd think that sheldon had the technical capabilities to do MAC filtering, changing the SSID and hiding it, or hell maybe just lowing the output of the radio signal to not go outside the apartment lmao

I guess none of the writers know - or hope the audience doesn't know - about the hard-reset button on a wifi router.

Not for the physical button. It would be pretty useless if you had to know the password.
The hard reset puts the password back to whatever it started as, which is usually on a label on the device. Then they change it to something else to keep Sheldon out.
