From Marvin Gay to Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson to Fella Kuti, these stars inspired us with their powerful vocals and unforgettable songs. We'll remember them for years to come!
who you miss most?
Fela Kuti, Ludwig van Bethoven, Robert Nesta Marley, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Chuck Berry, Luciano Pavarotti, Michael Jackson, just to name a few. Not because of their colour of the skin, but because of their music.
Love all these artist and musicians. Amen to their eternal contributions to society, culture, and everyday life
10 isn't enough to name Black legendary musicians. Oh so, many not mentioned 😢

WoW!!!,
The AMAZING POWERS of TGE MOST HIGH'S CHOSEN HEBREW ISRAELITES..
Thanks,
For sharing ❤🎉😊.
Gosh there's so many favorites it's hard to choose. Though the queens of soul, Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin should have made the list. I miss Bob Marley the most, though I was born after his death.
This guy could not be any further off . Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Charles Parker, etc billy holiday, little Richard, bb king , nat king Cole, Manu Debango, Ella Fitzgerald, Miriam Makeba , Jessie Norman, Scott Joplin, short list of the many who
could take Lionel Richie’s place. But it’s absurd to even count them down if you know anything about about black American music. Being considered a great is not just about selling records or popularity. It’s about mostly impact too. There are many other too soon to count .
Can’t show this video to my 3rd graders because the imagery in the intro is not school appropriate
Pls the race of the person doesn't matter
where is Lucky Dube
Prince?
Agreed with all except #1. Whitney Houston? What?? IMO, she just belted out songs, with no sublety or nuance. It was more shouting than singing. But what do I know?
Some others to consider: Dionne Warwick, Paul Robeson, Nina Simone, Dorothy Dandridge, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Duke Ellington, Nancy Wilson (my personal favourite) and Morgana King.
Thanks for your honest opinion buddy. I appreciate it
The picture of Whitney in the thumbnail isn't even her, it's the actress that plays her in one of her biopics.... come on, do better if you're gonna honor and show respect to these people
