    Hi Everyone,
    I'm sure you've all seen the initial keychains on Tik Tok and other social media and have been wondering how to make them. In this tutorial I will show you I make these keychains using Resin.
    For this tutorial I use epoxy resin and an alphabet mold.
    Please always be cautious when working with Resin and make sure to wear gloves and work in a well ventilated area.
    These keychains along with other things I've made will be up on my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/shop/bunnyprince...
    Right now I'm having a sale where 90% off proceeds will be going to Corona virus relief and aid. Please visit my shop and support if you can.
    I hope everyone is staying safe and using this time to spend with their family and loved ones and getting creative.
    Supplies:
    Resin: ArtResin on Amazon
    Alphabet mold: AliExpress
    Glitter, pressed flowers, gold key-rings, eye-pins: AliExpress

    wow these are so pretty!! 😍 i’m just wondering with putting the flowers in first before the resin, are they exposed to the outside and will they peel off.. or does the resin make its way underneath to hold it there?

    • @mareikefeiling7758

      Ellie S the resin will mostly go underneath it

    • @bunnyprincess1866
      @bunnyprincess1866  4 роки тому +8

      The flowers will not be exposed if you put enough resin , if you want you can pour some resin in first and then the flowers and then another layer of resin on top, make sure to pop the air bubbles cause that’s a big problem when working with flowers 😣 and thank you for watching 😊💕

    So I made keychains for the first time but when they dried and I took them out the mold some had some pits in it, like a piece chipped out that didn’t fill all the way. What suggestions do you have that I can fix this? Can I just pour in some resin and fill it in?

    • @bunnyprincess1866
      @bunnyprincess1866  4 роки тому +1

      I’m so sorry that happened :( usually when that happens there are things like flower pieces or whatever you put in the resin that caused it to create air bubbles. So next time I would use a toothpick under the area and pop all bubbles, If you want you can add UV resin to fill it in or add another layer. Sometimes it’s just easier to start over 💕

    im having trouble with many micro bubbles. do you have any advice?

    • @bunnyprincess1866
      @bunnyprincess1866  4 роки тому +8

      Oh no :( I hate when that happens , I’d suggest you put the resin bottle in a bucket of hot water before using , when the bottle is warm to touch then use resin, and also use heat gun to pop bubbles. I find the bubbles give it nice effect so don’t stress about it too much 💕

    I’ve been having a problem with my resin letters. Whenever I put the screw into the resin it stays but a couple days later it cracks the resin. Do you know what
    I could do to fix it?

      There could be two possibilities: Is the resin cured properly? Maybe the width of the keychain is too small to sustain the screw?

    Do you have to use a heat gun or a lighter to get rid of the air bubbles? If so how long do you put it near the resin.

    • @bunnyprincess1866
      @bunnyprincess1866  4 роки тому +1

      Yusur's Life hi dear , I suggest you get heat gun, it’s much safer and won’t burn anything , I just quickly run it over and then pop the rest of bubbles with toothpick, if you put heat for too long it can make the resin come out bad so just quickly run it over, hope this helps! Good luck with your business 😊💕

    Where did you get the mold from?

    Whenever I pour the resin, the back is shiny and the front is very matte. Is there a reason why?

    • @bunnyprincess1866
      @bunnyprincess1866  3 роки тому

      It could be that your mold has some residue or is dirty. I always clean the molds before using them. Hope this helps! :)
