I just had to put my dog down yesterday and I'm heartbroken. I fully believe that God will resurrect the animals in the New Heavens and New Earth (1 Cor 15, Romans 8, Gen 2, Isaiah 11, 65, Gen 9)
I lost my cat today, along with three dogs over the last few years. I, too, strongly believe that the Lord will bring them back.
Yeppers! They will be there waiting for us ..remember all things are possible with God.
Never listen to anyone that tells you pets will not be in Heaven. Read Psalm 37:4. God knows what we desire. And He will fulfill that desire. ;)

Today. I had put my dog,Hazel, to peace. 19 years of joy. I hope she is with her sisters. Running like crazy. RIP to all the loved pets.
My sister had a near death experience at 32 when her heart stopped beating. She saw her dog in Heaven! She described it as so real she could feel the ground under her back, and the texture of her dog's fur as she petted her. Georgia isn't the type to live for animals like I am, so she didn't go there expecting to or longing to see her pets again. So, this was no wishful thinking or trick of the brain as some like to claim near death experiences are.
I hope this brings everyone reading this comfort as it does me. My cat is laying beside me dying at this very moment. I love him every bit as much as my four human daughters so the pain is great.
Remember Luke 3:6 "And all flesh shall see the salvation of God". It's popularly translated as "all people", but not in the word for word KJV translation. Praise His Holy Name!

The Greek word for “people” in that verse is “sarx” meaning flesh: the soft tissue of a living organism!! Which would include animals/pets :)
Our Cat died Nov 13th 2020 we had her for 16 years.. Never knew it would be this hard to loose a pet.. my husband and children are taking it hard as well... I’m happy to know our Cat Princess Storm is at peace with the Lord!I

It`s terrible, my cat died 2 years ago and it was tough. Next door neighbour had a nine month old kitten that came to play with me everyday over the garden wall, he was very sweet and we bonded. He was killed by a car 2 days ago and it has put me back into awful grief, his life had just begun. I believe God loves all his creation, animals and people are special and we will pass through death as spiritual truth.
My dog just died at 16 years old in my arms! I feel you I can’t imagine God would create these beautiful beings for nothing.. they are special we know how special they are God knows what he’s doing the bible is for the people not for animals maybe that is why there’s not much written about it
Pets are actually a glimpse of heaven on Earth... heaven will just be more and I’m certain pets are there! My Lord knows my deepest wish and shall provide abundantly!

A resurection for animals? Do you really buy that?? When an animal dies, it stays dead. That's just how it works. It might sound sad, but the Bible doesn't talk about this stuff.

When I am asked the question about pets going to heaven, I ask them.....Would it be heaven without them? That puts their minds at ease.

Man, I was so hurt when I lost my dog when I was 14 . I missed 2 of 3 days of school . 24 now and I still miss her.
Animals clearly understand Love, therefore by definition they know God. Any creature which knows God must of logical necessity have a soul, and so by definition is in Heaven

I believe that our deceased dog is being taken care by an assigned angel in heaven, feeding him, taking him on walks, and playing with him makes me happy to think..

IT IS HARD I KNOW. MY WIFE AND I HAD 3 BEUTIFUL DOGS AND THAT WAS OUR FAMILY UNTIL OUR FIRST BORN CAME. I CAN HONESTLY SAY IT RIPPED MY GUTS OUT TO HAVE TO PUT ALL 3 TO SLEEP. I LOST 2 WHO WERE ABT 7 AND 9 AND MY LAST WAS ABT 12. IT WAS SO HARD I DIDNT WANT TO LET HER GO AND I KEPT PUTTING IT OFF. I HAD TO FINALLY UNDERSTAND THAT SHE WAS GETTING TO OLD TO MOVE WELL AND PROBABLY HAD PAIN FROM ARTHRITIS OR JOINTS SO I REALIZED AS MUCH AS I LOVED HER I NEEDED TO STOP BEING SELFISH AND LET HER GO HOME TO GOD THE FATHER WHERE SHE WILL BE WHOLE AGAIN.. LIKE I SAID IT TORE ME AND MY WIFE APART BUT WE FOUND COMFORT KNOWING THAT THEY ARE WITH THE LORD AND THEY WILL BE WAITING FOR US WHEN WE COME HOME.. THE PAIN NEVER GOES AWAY BUT I PRAY THE LORD FILLS YOU WITH HIS PEACE DAY BY DAY.. SHALOM

The amazing bond between humans and dogs is special; in fact many people have said they prefer dogs to most people. Dogs teach us so much about love and loyalty and give us so much fun and pleasure, there have got to be dogs in heaven or heaven doesn't exist.

He is there, it's up to you to believe in Jesus Christ . It's the only way you can be together.
We had to say goodbye to our dog today. It's not my first time talking to a loving pet who's come to the end of his or her life through to the end. It's never easy if you truly love your companions. I'm human and although my faith is pretty solid I can't help but grieve at the loss. I'd ask anyone who reads this to pray for me and my family.
I believe in scripture and I read so many places in the Bible that really do give me hope that I'll be with my precious pets again. That said, I do believe these animal souls were placed in my carnal life for a purpose. My father in heaven game them all to me as companions here on earth and to minister to me as well and all he ever asked was I love and take care of them. That being true, why would my father do something so special and bless me with these wonderful earthly souls, these companions, only to leave them behind after he renews his kingdom. Roman's 8:20-21 and 11:36 come to mind here. In addition, I'd tell anyone to read over Colossians 1:16 Psalm 138:6. And of course, Proverbs 12:10 is a must for all pet owners. I believe it's logical to assume. And I base that logic on scripture that he'll save them because he loves them and not only that, I'll be allowed to be with my precious pets again in heaven and know they're safe.

I hope this brings you comfort and hope as it does me. Remember the scripture, "All flesh shall see salvation" Luke 3:6. It's often translated as all "humans", but the word for word translation, as The King James version intends, says "flesh". Praise God!

I read the description and it said something about someone called Buster, it crushed my heart because I had a dog called Buster and he got hit by a car and... didn't survive. My dad told me when I got home from school and I was so sad and heart broken I couldn't move. Buster is like a brother to me. I loved him and when he died, I cried for 10 weeks every night. I would hide my sadness from everyone but I pray every night and talk to Buster. I never hear him talk back but I talk about how I miss him so much and I know he would never want to see me sad. I love him so much. I can't wait until my time has come, but my journey has only just begun.
Sorry for your great loss of Buster. We had a dog Buster, a Shhp dog, that loved to run about. Passed at the age of 6 year old with kidney failure. Sadly missed, but he was only ours for a while. He is now in Heaven awaiting my arrival. Be thankful that you could love your Buster daily, and some day you will see him again.
Thank you, Dr. Betters. So many people need that hope, because of the loss of their pets. I completely agree with everything you said. Our God is love. He gets millions of prayers about pets, all the time. I think he plans on surprising us, which is why he is silent on the subject. No eye has seen...no ear has heard... Amen.
My interpretation is that the love and affection that animals give to their own kind and humans would be given by our Lord himself, isnt it confusing to say that God will throw out this love to not exist and live? So YES, ANIMALS DO GO TO HEAVEN

It's possible that housebroken animals that serve humans have a better chance of going to heaven because they're serving us, they worship us who are in God's image. The Bible says animals worship God in their own way. Probably just by fulfilling their roles in this world, wether it be by being man's best friend, or eating pests, bringing balance to the ecosystem, that's how they enter heaven.
I've always believed even as a youngin, that animals go to heaven when the pass away from here. I believe that I will see & have my pets with me in heaven!
...even the dogs eat crumbs from the king's table... comes to mind for me. The fallen sparrow doesn't go unnoticed to God. It is my (unresearched) opinion that because animals do not have souls as a man- they will die innocent and live again in Heaven. It is God that reaches down and makes the deer to deliver- (psalms) and God that breaths life into everything living, including plants.
My cat died today, she was 18 years old (in cat years 88), I can almost not take the pain, my body feel ill from the sorrow. I'll almost want to die right now and go see her and my previous pets.
They'll be waiting at the gates when the day comes, but they most certainly would want you to live your life before reuniting with them.
I lost many birds who I loved very much recently, it's hard I totally understand you, but I truly believe that they are now in heaven because they are creatures of god just like us.

Oh holy Abba father in the name of Jesus Christ I pray with every breath in me that you would have my baby Harley in heaven waiting for me when I get there. Lord you gave me that precious gift you knew how much I would love him! He is one of the most precious gifts you have ever given to me. My doggy died of a heart attack he was soo young. If I went to hell for my sins I'm fine but all I'd want is my dog in heaven. He was a beacon of happiness in my life.

@@deepkamalborah8713 just because we are more precious, doesn't mean they aren't precious. It just means we are above them. There are animals in heaven according to the scripture and they worship God in their own way. In heaven the Bible says they were singing and howling their praises to God.

I disagree with this man, pets do have souls, God gave them breath just like us, I know that pets do go to heaven, they love, have hearts, they are waiting for us to be with them in heaven

Isaiah’s description of the peace of God’s future kingdom where he says that “the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox” (Isaiah 65:25). Heaven will lack nothing that is good and that will bring glory to God. We will make new friends in the new earth. God loves all creatures.

Anyone that had lost a (fury child) due to sickness or cancer will reunit with their fury child but you have to believe that there is a Almighty God I had lost 3 fury pets and I will reunit with my kids

Rest assured your pets are in Heaven. Bailey my Golden Retriever had cancer at age 5, I prayed and prayed, and God healed him. Bailey at age 17 was very sick, and I prayed nightly for him. But to no avail he was not getting better. So on my knees with my hand laid upon him I questioned God as to why he would not heal my pet. Upon my asking the Holy spirt said do you remember his cancer years ago, I replied yes, and he said to me I have given you an additional 12 years with him. It is time for him to come home and rest. I have no doubt whatsoever that our pets are in heaven.

Our Buttercup died couple weeks ago. Daughter and wife ask if pets/animals go to Heaven. I know he is still alive......I say to them, God created them, they may not have the same way/plan of salvation than we do (which seems to be the biggest debate of it all) nor did God not create them in the image and likeness of Himself (only humans) and that God can do anything. They are everywhere in the Bible. God loves them. It was always strange when I would ask him if he knew Jesus and he would just look at me different as if he understood something. But that of course is not the norm....lol. I believe, but we will soon find out. I sure hope my buddy is there. Wife is still bawling..........HELP!.....lol. Thank you Dr. Betters!

Animals have never fallen therefore they don’t need to be saved like us humans did. They don’t need souls to get there. They will be in heaven.
2 years ago we had to put down 3 of our dogs within a 2 month time period. It was the single most emotionally draining experiences i have ever lived through. I really that when the good lord calls me home I will my puppers next to St Peter.

I had asked a priest this very question,( will we see our pets in heaven) not knowing he had a heart attack a few months before l had met him and was pronounced dead for 7 minutes a he shared with me ,he stated he seen his brother who had passed and he had also said he had seen his cat which he had to put down 1 month prior to his heart attack, so the answer is absolutely, we will see our pets once again when it’s our time,🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
In the Bible it says in the life to come the lion will lie down with the lamb. On a t.v. show a few years ago about life after death a woman saw a ladder from heaven with cats and dogs running up the ladder into a golden light. She said, "I never knew animals survived death!" It was a great show. I believe that God will provide for the redeemed whatever they loved in this life will be given in the next. Trust in Jesus Christ, the hope and the life. God truly loves those who trust and love and obey Him. What is beyond this life is worth the trip...being reunited with those we've loved and lost, including our animals is worth everything.
I apologize for the length and the disjointedness of some of this - I am working on it and so it has a lot that needs fixing, however I hope that the points will be clear enough to make since to people. I lost my little dog of 10 years 6 days ago and it has been harder than any pet I have ever lost - she was very special to me. The grief was near unbearable. I lay in bed and prayed that God would give me help over losing her and I woke up with the thought of Jesus and the saints riding back on horses and from that verse after verse has been flooding my mind and this is the results so far. I hope others can get some little help from it.

treasures laid up in heaven (where a man's treasures are is where his heart is in biblical times what did the average man think of as treasure? - a nice home {took care of in the promised mansion} gold and jewls {the streets and walls in heaven are made of them} good health {we are promised that and eternal life in heaven} the hope of having family and friends there? {I would say that's a treasure definitely} they also considered their animals treasures {in the bible every time a mans riches are mentioned animals are mentioned - flocks and herds, Kind Solomon horses, camels peacocks etc... )

by the first Adam the curse and death entered into the world and by the second Adam the curse and death will be removed
If what the first Adam did cast all of man kind into a state of being lost and put all of creation into being under the curse - how much of a disservice to Jesus and His sacrifice would it be to say it only "fixed" the first part but creation would not receive fixing even though in Genesis God stated everything was good?
The fact that in the old testament before the PERFECT sacrifice came, animals were used as the sacrifice because they were innocent (NOT guilty of the law) thus Fido doesn't have the requirement of getting saved instead the sacrifice is to redeem man and thus in time the curse to be lifted.
I have several reasons to believe that there is a high probability that people who love their pets will have them in eternity (along with ALL the animals that have ever existed). here are a few from the Bible - 1. in Genesis, God's original plan was for man and creatures to live in the Garden in harmony without death (death is a wage for sin and came about because of man's fall) I have heard some say "Man was suppose to be eternal but not the animals" but if that were the case than why does it say in Genesis 1:29 & 30 that God gave man AND every beast the herbs to eat (implying that all ate plants and didn't kill or eat meat so most likely no death) So that implies to me the animals were going to live along side man in harmony for eternity until the fall. 2. Noah and his family were brought onto the ark along with representatives of the animals which were saved for man's sake. To me the story of the flood and the ark is a picture of salvation (God loves to use pictures to make His point so it seems) By faith Noah built the ark to the saving of him and his family. Here is the picture I see. Noah preached and any could come into the ark if they chose but only him and his family chose to. A picture of man choosing to have faith in God or choosing to reject God. However, the animals God brought into the ark - they were innocent. Seems to me that this is a picture of eternity God could have just as easily let every animal perish in the flood and when the waters receded spoke new animals into existence. Seems to me that would be a truer picture if the animals such as the horses Jesus and the saints ride back on and the lion and the lamb laying down together were "new" animals in eternity. (also God works in dispensations and it seems that THIS is the time period for creation) 3. Ecclesiastes 3:14 " I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him." "whatsoever" is like "whosoever" it's all inclusive God created it so it will be forever (that is probably why God has no choice but to separate those who reject Him in Hell instead of just annihilating them.) God didn't just create the body but also the mind and the part of them that makes them individual ( anyone who has a dog or cat knows there is individuality in them). 4. II Samuel 12:1 - 5(for those who like to use the without natural affection rout) describes in perfect detail a pet and talks about how the man loved the little ewe AS A DAUGHTER. King David while guilty of heinous sins was still a man after God's own heart and was angered at the story and in fact was going to give the same punishment to the man for killing the man's pet as if he had killed one of the man's children - death 5. While I don't have to have my pets in eternity to be happy, God would be enough but the bible also says where a man's treasure is so is his heart (my pets would be a big treasure to me)... I also wouldn't have to have a mansion (the mansion is just icing on the cake) but God want's to lavish His bride so why would he withhold anything (while I would love to have the mansion I would rather have my pets, but I am over joyed with going to get the Mansion) a person can desire to have their pets with them without it belittling how much they love God. Just like a person can look forward to having the mansion but if the mansion becomes the priority that's where a problem develops. A lot of Christians who are not close to animals have a lack of empathy for people who are close to animals. It seems like some of the things they love to use (I don't mean this derogatorily towards other Christians I just think it is done out of ignorance) is - " the person loves the animal more than God", "the person is without natural affection" , "if the person loves their pet that much than they have put the pet on too high of a position and they must not be right with God" "you shouldn't need your pet in eternity to be happy" "Fido cant get saved" well Fido didn't cause the fall and is innocent and rode Adam's coat tail into the fall by the curse so is not responsible for breaking the law. etc... I think they are looking at the situation wrong. I know there are people that yes they do love their pet in a wrong way maybe by loving it more than people etc.. but that isn't what I am talking about nor do I believe most people fall into that category. Anyway I have other reasons but this is way too long as is so I will end it with that... God loves us and why would he with hold something so simple from us. So in conclusion I have full faith that when God says that the earth will be remade perfect that that also includes the animals and He will have them there and we will enjoy them just as we will the mansion and streets of gold. Am I looking at this completely wrong and crazy or does it make since to anyone else?

I believe I saw my late husband holding out late kitty cat. It was just him showing me he had her.
I have noticed all my life that animals, even wild animals, seem so curious and interested in humans/people. An elephant or horse will work for and even obey a tiny human seems all out of reason. Yeah they might hurt a person too, but usually not. I've been slightly hurt before by dogs and horses but it was all accidental. I luv all animals, they are not evil like horrible people.
My Dog died this month and I'm heartbroken. She's was so faithful to me.😭😭😭😢🐕🐶🐶🐕🦺

It might be Proverbs 12:10 that reads, "A good man is concerned for the welfare of his animals, but even the kindness of a wicked man is cruel." In Romans 8 we are told that we and the creation groan under corruption and that God subjected the creation to decay in hope that at the revelation of the children of God the creation will also be set free from corruption not just mankind. I don't know if our pets will be alive forever but I cannot rule it out and I wouldn't want to if I could. As I was writing this comment suddenly my cat jumped up into my lap and I like my cat.

Advances in medicine have allowed people to become aware of things beyond the “light” because our approach to resuscitation is very different today. I recently saw another report of a man who was aware of his beloved dog during a near death experience. Thanks for the note about Isaiah. As you say, Heaven is all good things. I believe that our reunion with our Father in the presence of Our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit will bring many unexpected surprises and Joy beyond our wildest imagination. I stand with those theologians who believe God's word ... that it is "man" who sinned and is in need of a Savior, not His animals. The Bible speaks of even Jesus having & riding a white horse, of a wolf and lamb hanging out together, of a child sitting safely with a snake, etc. How many examples does God need to provide? Seems He settled the issue in His word.

There is a belief that every soul starts out lowly and has to go through several "stages" of life forms before reaching the top aka "human." From plant to animal to eventually human. I like this idea because it makes more sense as to why God would leave animal salvation out of the Bible or them going to heaven - if they were going to eventually be reborn human and have the chance to obtain salvation in that life. Plus, I'll never grasp why some life just happens to be born animal or insect and others are born human. It blows my mind and that provides an explanation. Probably deeper than necessary for this video, but yeah. So basically I'm not sure I believe we'll see our pets in heaven. I think their souls might continue on until they get a chance at God's salvation too.
