Hey droog, I have a bunch of the macanudo hyde park churchills, they are pretty good, got over 20 I’ll smoke them, but im always leaning towards Maduro cigars! Just ordered a box of CAO Zócalo! I’ll let you know what i think! Ive read good reviews about them!
Timothy Dougherty The CAO Zocalo is my favorite Maduro. I’m willing to bet you will like it. I find it to be a smooth rich slightly sweet smoke. A pleasure
Now that I think about it and I do not have one to look at. The CAO Zocalo is a dark cigar and it is sweet like a Maduro but it may not be a true Maduro. I dont remember. But if you like CAOs Maduros the way I do. You will love it
Macanudo for me has never worked. They are well constructed, burn well, are never harsh. But they lack the richness that I love. All tobacco is bitter, but the ones I like have so many other flavors including sweetness, that the bitterness is in the background. To me Macanudo's cigars lack the richness of flavors that round out that bitterness. And I don't mind bitter flavors, I drink black coffee and the local IPAs.
Tried this one maybe 5 years ago and really enjoyed them.

That's the thing about my reviews (and maybe all reviews) a lot of it is a matter of personal taste. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. :)
