It is shown on the data but another way of getting it if you have two middle values, you'll locate the two numbers in the middle of the data set then find the average of the two middle numbers by adding them together and dividing the sum by two. the result of this average is the median. e.g 250 and 290 are both the middle values, therefore you'll add them then divide them by 2 (you always divide by two) 250+290 ___________ 2 =270
