The start is over 45 degrees, probably close to 50 but just for the first two turns, after that it's under 40 and the end way under 30 (so it's very steep but very short). In this case the cam in wide angle lens and poiting at his feet increases the perceived steepness, so I judged mostly from how close his legs are to the snow and also how much speed he gets with the turns he makes, compared to other footages of lines for which I know the steepness. And it's unlikely that you have been on anything 50 degree steep, otherwise you would know all this. Almost all black/double black slopes never exceed 35 in any part and rarely exceed 30, for instance (except in resorts false advertisement). 45 degrees is VERY steep when it comes to skiing. The experts of steep ski go up to 55 degrees and some (sustained, not just a few turns). But of course it's usually skied much more carefully, with jump turns to get as little speed as possible, as most of the times falls can be deadly. Jeremy Heitz is an example of extreme steep ski done in a sick way, but there are probably less than a handful of people potentially able to do what he's done in La Liste and in the upcoming La Liste 2.
@@emphyriohazzl1510 I didn't research yet but it's unbelievable that the black slopes I snowboard are less than 45!! Could it be possible the measurements they provide are before snow?
@@emphyriohazzl1510 wow! you're right 45 degrees is considered extremely steep and 100% grade. I just saw La Liste video it's crazy!! Thanks for sharing my friend, you seem very passionate about skiing!
@@MrAM4D3U5 it is steep of course. The very very start could be 50 degrees but just for one or 2 turns, then it quickly gets under 40 and then under 25 in the end. But 40 is very steep (most double black never exceed 35 in any part). The camera does accentuate the perceived steepness in this video though, yep (obviously, actually : the start looks like it's 70 degrees when snow wouldn't even hold on a 70 degree face).
Heres a way to fake a murder: GO THERE WITH THE GUY U WANT TO KILL, u don’t need to touch him he does the work for u. (Film it for proof, U DID NOT TOUCH HIM) I was not here btw
Dude missed the math class about a slope not being a slope anymore when it's 90°

Me waiting for an avalanche to form
Exactly this is what I was also thinking 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh god am also came to put it😂
I was thinking that too.
Isn't there one already building up?
Same lol
The craziest part is GoPros always make the slope look less steep. I can only imagine how steep that run looked from the top 😳
you can see that hes pretty much huging a wall
That’s awesome, man. That was no small task you had there.
To prove my courage, I watched it again
😂😂😂

Underrated 🤣🤣🤣

It just a go pro that makes it look scary. I mean it's still dangerous but go pro makes it look even more dangerous.

The 360 camera really helps make that look like it’s straight down
Really? I know normal action cameras have fisheye lenses and make things look less steep. Still, as a skier this looks like a very very steep chute
