Thanks for making these videos. The Standard 2 is in no way a Wharncliffe. If anything that is a Lambsfoot profile. There is an industrial scale laziness relating to the correct denomination of blade profiles. Also people need to learn how to say Solingen. Keep up the good work!
@@umbertomasoero367 If you prefer, I agree reverse tanto is valid. Since the edge is straight I'd say it also potentially qualifies as Lambsfoot and since it has the angle on the spine it is disqualified from Wharncliffe status. If the edge had a belly or a recurve that would disqualify it from Lambsfoot status but it still might then be reverse tanto. I'm really into this blade pedantry vibe.
