As our family embarks on a new adventure. We will be leaving behind family and friends we have known our entire life. We have lived in Maine for 42 years and we have made the decision to move more south to begin our homestead. Your journey has been inspiring as we have a sign that hangs in our home, "The Struggle is part of Our Story." I hope when we move we can find friendship like you have found with the Rhodes. Thank you Art & Bri for sharing your struggles and showing some of us, that we AREN'T alone. God Bless your beautiful family.
Wishing you all the best on your move. So exciting for you to move to a homestead. We have just moved from Wales UK to a small village by the sea in Cyprus. Unfortunately my husband had a major stroke and we don't have land anyway because his land which was perfect for us was lost 9 months after we married in the 1974 war. We thank God nobody lost their lives in the family because of that war and we were living at that time in London. We can see our beautiful land but it is on the other side of the Greek Cypriot border and nobody lives in that abandoned village. It is a Turkish garrison I believe.
Enjoy your land and make things grow just as God intended us to live. We are happy for you and wish you well

If only there were more people like the Rhodes! there are many like you Art and Bri, hurting, lost, overwhelmed to the point you are cribbled can't t;ink or make decisions or anything, but Thank God you and your family reached out to a loving family like The Rhodes! I also know from this point on you and Bri will be able now to do the things you need to do for your family! I also know you will be stronger when you get through this tough time and when you do you will able to pass on the friendship and help for others. I like watching from you people and the Rhodes, cause you both families are helping me be a better person, and I don't even have a homestead except for in my sole, which for now is ok!
