IslandDoc, They said the same about sailors on the old sailing ships. The new guys were terrified going up into the riggings and held on with both hands, seldom falling. While the old hands were too comfortable and held on with one hand, or not at all leading to a misjudged hold . . .
Great video and thanks for taking the time to make it. The only flaw I found is that your “first one” notch changed a few times as to which notch was the first one. You pointed to it every time though so I get it lol. Thanks again.
Funniest thing I have seen involving Conibears, was a friend of mine got both Thumbs in a 120 that was wired down. He was Screwed, should have left him there, but after I got done laughing I set him free. Cheers
Sam what notch to use on 110 for squirrels? I have mine on a 2x4 and have been setting them on middle. Something came through and ate the marshmallows so going to try the last notch - the sensitive one
What setting do you suggest for a duke 220 using bait (new trap) on groundhog? also, do the new traps need to be boiled/prepped for groundhog or can they be used right out of the box (nuisance animal). Thank you!
Trap mod/ You can take a wood nail and use nail (business end) on trigger where notch sits and hit nail into trigger to pry out that flat edge of notch and itll with ease from leverage fire off trap because of doin this mod i go with 1st notch
is it necessary to adjust the trigger assembly on the duke body grip trap? i have a few and am trying to get started, my trigger has to move pretty far before it fires. is this a problem?
Thanks for getting straight to the point within 40 seconds of the start!! Zero fluff!
This guy handles traps with the ease with which I handle a pencil. Great video for this noobie. Thanks!

Mostly trees inner bark which I have used as bait they like poplertrees, there’s also beaver caster and baits for mound sets or like a hole set

Conibears are pretty all purpose, useful tools aren’t they? Not very many things you can’t use them for.
