I love Nintendo Platinum points! The physical goods are limited, but it's a chance at some unique merch for some of their popular titles. I really wish they tied them into achievements though. Each achievement gives you some platinum coins that you use for new icons / backgrounds / physical goods / etc. Or even better, bring 3DS/DS themes back and let us buy those with the points!

I only play Nintendo consoles and PC games, but I didn't really play on PC this year. According to Nintendo I played 58 Switch games and played 890 hours. My most played game was Asphalt 9 Legends, over 700 hours this year (1400+ total). Tears of the Kingdom says 85 hours but my Switch says I've only played it for 75 hours.
Y’all pulled rookie numbers on Switch this year. I played over 1000 hours and most of it was between Metroid Dread (beat it for the first time on normal and hard mode and 100% on my first playthrough), TotK (all shrines, all lightroots, all dungeons, most of the armor, 245 hours total), and the N64 NSO because I decided to do a 100% run and a 3 heart run in OoT and I replayed Paper Mario 64 for the 100000th time.
1:00:20 MGS2 was great tho. I love it probably more than 3 due to nostalgia (and it has better villains imo, nobody remembers most of the "The ____" bosses in 3), but Raiden is still great.

i love the podcast, but they are both wrong about last of us 2, and i would like to see someone play the whole game and not cry multiple times and also in the end and not feel like a changed person after it. I think they were just in Jirards corner cause friendship of sorts but not full well knowing what all actually was going down. It was like when the Projared accusations came out and PBG was defending Jared right away even though not all the info was revealed.

i love the podcast, but they are both wrong about last of us 2, and i would like to see someone play the whole game and not cry multiple times and also in the end and not feel like a changed person after it. But i understand it may not hit the same with everyone witch is also fine but they both just dismissed it like that so i wanted to give my opinion too. 😄😅😁
No issues? Re4 was short, games are too expensive, no new arena fps, hollow knight silently delayed. No new smash bros. Trash year tbh. Lords of the fallen Fallin on is face. Metroidvania was trash as well this year. Nothing from crossword, castle in the darkness 2.... the list goes on
