I think this sometimes also, the aggressiveness of WOOD. I actually love Wood as a friend, we would probably work better. But I'm not in their "realm" haha.
( as outsiders, we don't really really know we just watched them for hours to hours, but not years of time ) I think Bob just needed space for his own thing, chemistry? something.
The tention and passive aggressiveness in the video between the two of them is very obvious.... honestly good for Bob for getting away

Bob nonchalantly calling out Jirard for being a garbage human was the best part of this final episode! "I met people I thought were nice and apparently stole a bunch a money from charity so..." Gonna miss you Bob!
About what time
This pod started at the same time I started my business) that included an hour commute) so it’s been part of my commuting journey. Can’t believe it’s been almost two years. Came for bob but Wood is pretty awesome so here to stay. Excited for its future and happy for it to continue
The tension is soooo akward no? It’s just like bob is “come on I just want to be done “ and wood seems so bitter and trying to get bob to show emotions he just isn’t going to give. Wood looks like he is so hurt and keeps asking bob to feel the same way he feels. It’s sad in the sense that I don’t want to say that the friendship isn’t reciprocated but if definitely like a kids who’s dad is emotionally unavailable. Yet if this is the state of the team then it’s time to part ways on this. Also I praise wood for being able to be vulnerable and share emotions the way he does and also praise for bob who can separate emotions and look towards the future and focus on what needs to be done rather then letting emotions get in the way. They are two very different people and it’s been a part of my life for the 84 episodes and I will miss them but will definitely be still watching wood as I did before bob came on and will watch him after. Woods content has helped me in many ways as not only is the shared love of gaming but he also created an outlet to discuss good mental health and anxiety that you would never expect in a channel of this content. So thank you to wood for recognizing that there are so many gamers out there who use gaming as an escape and making it a safe space to talk and listen and feel like there is someone out there that gets you.
I’m going to miss bob but I’m sticking around for the future too. Excited to see where the podcast goes

When Bob announced that he was leaving, it not only made me really sad, but to me, it really ruined the vibe of the podcast. The fact that he admitted that he basically never wanted to do this podcast really takes away how genuine it felt. He will definitely be missed on the show, but I'm excited to see the direction it'll go. I wouldn't mind seeing Scoot replace him honestly. He's grown on me.
Edit: It's also disheartening to see how excited Bob seems to be done with it as well.
They literally joked repeatedly since the first episode about how hard it was to convince Bob to do the Podcast...
I came into this apprehensive as a wulffden fan bc I’m all about bobs energy and was highly turned off by woods energy but I gotta say wood grew on me quite a bit and this became one of my most anticipated podcasts during the week. Sad to see bob go but I will give this new era of nontendo a real shot. Good luck to both of you gentlemen
Polar opposite for me. Love Wood and I pretty frequently avoided watching this because Bob seemed so standoffish and holier than thou. He’s got that classic aged nerd ego vibe.

I watched you both separately and was so stoked when you started a podcast together. I can’t say I necessarily watched the podcast because of one specific persons presence, but I did watch because I enjoy both of your content and seeing you guys together was just a nice bonus. I used a cassette Walkman for when my iPod died. I also carried a second cassette tape that was different every week. Also had new CDs like Linkin park converted into cassette tapes.

I'm happy for Bob. He's seemed miserable the whole show. I understand that wood wants him to stay, but thats not fair. You can't force people to do things they dont wanna do.
Bobs decision make no sense to me HOWEVER, seeing how he must know switch 2 is around the corner and this would be financially good for him YET he is leaving still, I gotta respect him for it. shows he is making decision that he wanna do over money.

The answer is as easy as Sicily. It was food. As for why it was on the tape? Could have been recorded in between segments or the family was recording over the other video and somehow the prior recording was retained. Linear magnetic tape has its issues.

I think Bob was cool but he really didn't play many games and complained alot. He's cool but I feel like Beatemups needs someone that knows just as much and enjoys those games like he does.
