Your accent improved immensely from where it had been when you made part 1 of this video. I'm an accent coach, btw. And you're right, there's no substitution for engrossing yourself in accent listening and mimicking, if you want to sound almost native
Your content is honestly SOOOO well done, the music selection, volume balance, your chill, nonjudgmental attitude…is just *chefs kiss* 👌🏾 ✨ You deserve so many more followers!!! This is also such a selfless thing to do and that’s such a rarity these days so I know you have nothing but greatness and prosperity in your future!!! 🙏🏽✨
I have a question: do you need to have a great speaking skillset first before starting correcting your pronunciation (I have a feel of the language but my speaking is not the greatest), or you can start correcting your pronunciation at any point of time (or maybe it's even better to focus on pronunciation early on?) ?
Clap clap you learned english when u came to USA.I think if you are going to another country -first learn their language. If I was going to go to a different country I will make sure i knew their language because if I do not then someone could tell me ,Do not go down that area because there is lions, cheetahs, quicksand and its not safe and I would be thinking, Oh I need to go down this way - then I get eating/ attacked by a lion, cheetah or get stuck in quicksand and die. Also someone in their country could only know their language and want be able to help me and there is many ,many more reasons why they should know that country language. The promblem is long, long ago people thought they needed to make different languages instead of just one so we are left with not understanding each other which is not good and safe. Also I know in other countries their is people in that country who thinking and saying please speak our language and trying to find out what we are saying.. In this case above the Indians are speaking in english . I know alot indians in usa and I have a friend who is indian. They also speak and know English. There is countries who want even allow entry into their country if the person do not speak their country language. Maybe if we make one language for every country future generations will understand each other and it be safer and easier 4 all
Well, i would like to say that if we can afford to travel and stay in America, i think we can catch easily the accent, otherwise it's quite hard,i know the phonetic but it still hard to have an american accent,
@@Hoesdonmiss ofc it's funny if you talk in an American accent while being an Indian living in India, iif you're from America then people won't mock you and that's understandable on their part aswell, it's called being pretentious when you try to be someone that you're not.
No not so hard i live in india and i can speak similar to native Americans fuck ! Idk about people on india i jus speak American accent nobody mocked me here in so far !!! Even they didn't what accent i am using but yeah they understand !! They were shocked a little jus that ....,No i dunno think it's indian is more funny even in india for me it's hilarious i hatr it
I can suggest that you can try out firstly by speaking your native language by copying with American accent. If you try this one out, you'll get great results! I've had implemented this method myself on my own and got the outcome. Try speaking your mother tongue by eliminating the MTI, i.e. mother tongue influence and replacing it with American accent.
@@learnskillsfrommainakthis I such a great idea!!! I’m from the US and I homeschool my daughter , we’re learning Spanish and I really appreciate this!!
Well it depends on the amount of exposure to the accent and how much you try to make it sound correct in your head. For me, I've been speaking in English all my life yet it's been only a weeks since I've started properly focusing on the accent I want to learn. Now whenever I try to speak in English I replay my words with the correct pronounciation of the accent, though I must say I'm far from being perfect but I'm getting there. Keep practising.

Both go hand in hand in my opinion. You can learn both language and accent at the same time. You can however prioritize one thing over the other
