First off, great riding on your part Travis! Watched both parts more than once. Hopefully no nightmares tonight! You know? The falling ones! Great video as always.
2am watching this video. That’s a bad ass trail defendant above my level and you guys make it look easy. Seams like Nate is fearless!! Thanks for sharing bud
Travis these cheeks were clenched just watching you. I relate with you about being in "scared mode" haha. Part of this sport is for sure mental. Editing the footage and seeing how close to the edges I was is when I freak myself out. Thanks for sharing.
That area is so huge. Just when you think you are at the bottom of the mountain you really aren't. Nate is a badass. Of course he is familiar with the area and that counts for a lot less mental and physical fatigue.
Man you got some huge nuts. That area is my favorite place to ride (have not been back where you went though). Been riding a ton for the last two years and have improved immensely. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to ride that stuff. The views look amazing!
Much better than Bad Situations - probably less in your head and different bike setup? I like how you added some rider tips in this video like using your clutch as a brake on steep descents. Hopefully you can get a boot sponsor. Great vid/riding Travis...thanks!
props to you Travis, I couldn't get my friends to do stuff like this. Maybe if i didn't tell them before hand? Maybe I wouldn't have any friends after that? Anyways I'm jealous that you have friends that can challenge you like this! This is the adrenaline junky stuff i live for!
Old video, but don't be afraid of your front brake going downhill, you can drag it and it will slow you down and keep you from building up too much speed.
Who TF would give this a thumbs down SMH! Good stuff. If you're not up for it I'll shut up... @18:55 watch Nate approach the waterfall, by the bush on the right at the approach he's already more on the throttle and has way more momentum going in, then just applies some more throttle as needed to get up without spinning. Try rotating your throttle arm forward just a tad on sections like this, it will make it easier to get into the throttle more without putting your elbow down and getting you out of an attack position, and make it easier to gain speed. Entry speed and momentum as you know is key or you fight it the whole way. Cheers.
Travis, as you glance down that rock gully, "There's some consequences right there, I'm definitely in my scared mode right now" fucking priceless. Appreciate ya brah!
Eventually, you'll be taking SubD up there. You'll be the Master and he'll be the Padawan, pooping his pants! You were definitely more prepared this time vs, your first ride out there going the other direction. Great video! As good as Part 1!
Every Single Sunday i’m camping in the Dragoon mountains right now, there’s some super sick trails here. A lot of old mine roads and trails going everywhere. Check out Joe rock stars channel I just did one of the trails he’s done, china camp trail, It’s not super tough I would call it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Jawbone sure does have some fun riding. You should have dropped into moon rock canyon. Some pretty fun nasty suff down there too. Me and my brother dropped down there last weekend. We dropped in around the 8:25 mark. Fun stuff
I bet you were beat after that ride, good job. If I recall in your other videos you are 30 something and around 250 lbs. That ride is for younger and lighter guys, good job dude. I have the SIDI boots but with the sewn sole. Just have to watch the steel toe piece from getting wasted as time goes by. Once that thing is gone it is over.
Ya, I’ve been in SG12s for the past year or so now and have to replace the tow cap when it’s worn. My first pair I let go too long and now I’m smarter about it I’m 39 and 245. It’s good for lifting the bike at times but being fat sucks. I was down to 230 but broke my ankle last October and it’s been a bear trying to get back down again when I still can’t run or ride as much as I want to
@@EverySingleSunday I hear ya. I'm 210 lbs. and 63 years. Knarlest ride I've done lately is from Gorman to East Frasier trail to What a trail to Lockwood creek to Halfmoon camp ground down Piru Creek. Brought premix in and people gave me gas. 98 miles out from 8am to 4pm. All single track. I was in survival mode coming back. 2000' Honda CR250R.
I think your buddies are colluding with each other, taking you through the nightmare sections of the Vertical Playground, to get you to purchase a Recluse Auto-clutch since you don’t like‘m lol. I usually have 3 liters of water for sure. Big rides, sometimes 5. My tool kit, spare camera gear, and a first aid kit. Maybe a light Jacket as well. All just depends on the day
It's does, just depends on how you ride and what your level is and what you weigh. You can make anything work just fine but a 300 shines when you need low end

Ive actually gone through another pair of Sidi Boots since this was shot a few months back. I have a pair of SG12's coming later this week. I ride a ton and destroy stuff quickly
One good thing about a 4stroke (out of the many good things) going down hill you can actually use the engine to help keep you slow, and a rekluse clutch is for people who don't want to learn to use a reg clutch, cheaters, learn how to use a clutch people
Decided to stay withy current 300 and pick up an adventure bike this year. Still super impressed with nthe Sherco but the numbers didn't work to get one

@@orijinalgamesta9738 Thanks man. Only been back on the bike a couple years after a decade off. Learning new stuff every time I ride
Shitting my pants for the whole video man
.....btw.....all videos SHOULDBETHISGOOD!
I was wore out after watching this one.
you should do a video on your moto van if you haven't already !
I want to get it built out a bit more. It's still really basic inside. Bed, some chemical storage, and a few seats.
Every Single Sunday gotcha gotcha , currently saving up to buy/build one
Do you not use any front break
I use the front brake a ton. Just depends on the situation and what the train and steepness looks like
Some of these two cents are so soft and steep that you cannot touch the front brake
Let me know if you ever at carniggie near tracy California there’s a lot of steep stuff like that
I’m going to start bringing duct tape for issues like your boot . Lol
Any sponsors want to step up and supply our buddy Travis with a new pair of MX boots?
I need all the help I can get
You need a new brand of boot!! Have you tried Gaerne? They have toe caps!! Great Video!!
Ive actually gone through another pair of Sidi Boots since this was shot a few months back. I have a pair of SG12's coming later this week. I ride a ton and destroy stuff quickly
Every Single Sunday You will LOVE your G12s!!! Hope they last longer for you!! Keep the videos coming they are VERY WELL DONE!!!!
@@detfrankbullitt1 hopefully
@@detfrankbullitt1 also Subscriber to BikeBandit on UA-cam. I do weekly Videos for them that are more if the same good stuff
Every Single Sunday Will Do!!!!
Nice and Crazy, i think you Need Go buy one new boot 😉
I got a whole new pair :)
little duct tape, some super glue boots will be like new
Everyone please comment and subscribe. Travis needs some new boots. 😄. Seems to be a common problem w the newer Sidi boots.
Nope...
Not even on the GSXR?
I think you would do better with a rekluse than you think but completly respect your opinion
One good thing about a 4stroke (out of the many good things) going down hill you can actually use the engine to help keep you slow, and a rekluse clutch is for people who don't want to learn to use a reg clutch, cheaters, learn how to use a clutch people
Lets see a review of some knee braces and ride hook pegs.
Not familiar with those pegs? Are they just a standard peg
Vid reminds me I am such a cream puff.
As long as you’re having fun and challenging yourself it doesn’t matter what you are riding
What happened to owning a SHERCO?
Decided to stay withy current 300 and pick up an adventure bike this year. Still super impressed with nthe Sherco but the numbers didn't work to get one
Shit is Gnar!
