I have notices they also can't steal grenades I used those when I face them in areas that are small especially like where he was for the shotgun and they didn't steal my grandes
I'm glad u said something. I was thinking this might be the case but when I tried it I still used my tactic of shoot a few rounds then quickly switch weapons
Just found out that you in arena you can drop gear outside the door before having to talk to the guy who takes the arena gear back, Just got the 3rd round (got a sniper and the Seva I suit) thats a good boost from what i had (the first military armor and mask you find)
Thanks for the vid - just a few pointers though: 1) Repair costs scale with the number of upgrades you put on your equipment [You state as much later on in the video]. Thus the SPAS is not necessarily best shotgun in the game. You can get a SAIGA early on as well (look for the jump puzzle in the south-west corner of the vehicle grave-yard between Rostok and the Yantar factory complex. Just use Skiff's pistol to shoot the Saiga off the ledge instead of doing the puzzle. Yes she is busted but those 7k Coupons are to repair her are well spent) and that little puppy has a box mag, which makes the reloading process much faster, despite holding one less round than the SPAS. I am personally also quite fond of the RAM-2 shotgun (aka the DP-12) but the reload just is too slow on many occasions.... 2) The SEVA-D suit is definitively NOT the best early game suit. It has two sister suits that you can find in Rostok (SEVA-V at the ecologist helicopter crash site, climb up onto the loading crane and look inside the driver's cabin) & Yantar. (The SEVA-I suit, inside the production building at the main complex. Be careful though - there is a psy-emitter there + a nasty mutant spawn [Burer/Controller or a pack of 3 bloodsuckers. I've encountered all of these there...]. That is not to mention the SSP100-Survey suit [granted: you have to buy that one] 3) Shotguns don't have clips - they have magazines. Tubular magazines for many of them (Such as the SPAS) or box magazines (often detachable, as is the case with the Saiga). Clips literally are just the clipper strips used to feed the ammo into a box magazine (such as say the stripper clips to feed ammo into a SMLE Mk.3 or K98k [who's box magazines are not detachable for example]) 4) When the Burer has his hands up and the blue light around him, your shots don't do anything to him. He just collects whatever you fire at him and then sends the projectiles back at you. Just wait for him to put his hands back down and then shoot him again. Saves you a lot of ammo. Still - enjoyed your presentation as usual and am looking forward to the next vid. Also: had to resub 'cause YT de-subscribed me for some reason...
I agree with most of your points, but this video is intended to be my guide for beginners to get the next tier level of gear as soon as they leave the lesser zone. As in the best pathing to the best armor, shotgun, rifle and detector. 1) Fully agree that the SAIGA is better, its just further away (its my next planned video). The biggest reason its better than the SPAS and RAM-2 is that reload magazine! Since the SPAS can be picked up so early I consider it to be 'the best early shotgun'. But i appreciate that may mean different things to different people =D 2) The Seva-D is on the way to the other gear I wanted to cover in this video and has the better base stats. Its also cheaper to repair and has -50% wear and tear. But your right the SEVA-I suit is a great next pickup before you replace it with the exo. 3) Sorry my gun terminology is dire! But thankyou for the polite corrections, I’m slowly learning. 4) Great tip on the burer, 19:55 I did mention this also, but I was trying to cut the gameplay to try and not waste people time, its always hard to get the right balance. Really glad you still enjoy the videos, Ive really taken my time with the game and covering it. Its so rare that you come across such a great open world game like this!
@@ESOdanny thanks 👍 I can understand all those points. I started playing the original STALKER trilogy when it first released and got back into STALKER when OperatorDrewski did his videos on STALKER Anomaly a few years back. So I'm a bit of an oldtimer in the franchise and consider Rostok and Yantar to be my favourite parts of the zone, so I went there first. If you want to optimise the lootrun with the detector - yeah I can see your argument. I'd suggest another one as well: After leaving the lesser Zone and Garbage, head for Rostok, pick up the Hilka detector (If you haven't found that one before) from Barkeep at the 100 Rads bar. Then head to Ecologist helicopter to grab the SEVA-V suit. From here into the vehicle graveyard to grab the Saiga. Heading north to the Trailer Dump locarion to grab the Sewn-in-pockets BP for the SEVA-I suite. Heading further north to the water pumping station to grab the Kharod rifle. Now into the Yantar production complex to grab the SEVA-I suit. Optional side objective: head West into the old science bunker West of Yantar to loot the corpses on the roof that always have some very nice guns on them (Fora-221, SPAS, M700 & some random ones). After that - head back east via The Chasm to Rostok to stash all the loot and sell stuff. I used that route during my second play through on Veteran difficulty and it worked quite well for me. 👍 Keep up the good work 👍
For the Early shotgun, if the body is not there for the key, you need to interact with the locked door nearby first. If it's still not there, come back later and interact with the locked door again and go back and the body with the key should appear.
I Iike the VS Vintar.. silenced, packs a punch, accurate, relatively low weight and fair prices to repair it. And from what I can tell from the spread sheet, it is also the best value I have that, a shotgun, Saiga or Cracker, and skifs pistol. Fairly low weight, and deadly at almost all ranges
First, thank you for all your helpful content. Second, after patch 1.1, why are some of the keybindings (PC) set as default? For example, I customize my keybindings to utilize other functions, but when it comes to using that function, you HAVE to use the default keybinding that the game has set for you, not yours.
Great guide! Still... SPAS-14 may be closer, but SAIGA-D12 is, as good or better in every stat, except slightly higher repair price, but since its durability is higher - difference is really negligeable, while usability is a lot better, due to magazine reload. You can can get a free Saiga at Yantar decommissioned vehicles field, doing a quick jumping puzzle with anomalies in the South-West part of it. Furthermore since you're already there - might as well grab Kharod. It's North-West from the vehicle field at the base of a dam. Code to the door is on the green trucks marked with eye symbol, one in each corner of the field. Takes virtually any type of attachment, extremely good stats and great kill/ammo used efficiency, fairly easy to upkeep too, as more enemies start to use AR416 and GP37 (even random bandits likely to have such a gun).
they also levitate any dropped guns and shoot them at you so with 2 you could have the gun dropped and then the other levitate it before you can pick it up and then shoot at you with it.
I accepted the mission, however the DECIDER RIFLE is not there,, I have the 1.1 patch, I dont know if that matters, looked everywhere cant find it,, any suggestions? Also the map marks the gun on map, but its not there, strange./
Interesting. I just did the same stuff and my game is different. Updated on Steam to latest patch. First of all the Poltegeist is moving like hell and its much harder to kill, second , when you go after the shotgun at that little house , there are little glass shards that injure you at those stairs. And i see more changes and can t understand ... why differences between my game and you , ESO. ?
I’m confused fit sine reason you have better stats on him then I do I don’t even have full bar of damage… is this a glitch on new patch ? Bc it’s funny that stock post has higher damage than all assault rifles
the last burer part how did u reduce damage these throws nearly kill me an i was using the seva suit also, did u take the rpgs, i got killed 3 times but decide to check the area and found 2 broken rpgs
7:20 I know there's a mutant called "Khaimera" (Chimera) in the but I didn't know we had a shymeras too :DD Also the construction yard with the Psi-effect isn't an anomaly, but just an area with a psi-effect.
I would suggest picking up the Diamond Exoskeleton, the best armor. You can literally run straight up and get it off the Spark Bunker as soon as you leave the Lesser zone. It has much better stats and if you upgrade, it has max physical and radiation. It also increases carrying capacity by 17.6kg AND it has FOUR lead artifact slots! You also run over and pick up the Saiga D-12 shotgun laying on a platform, the best in the game, and it is mag fed so no painfully slow reloads. 👍👍👍
I'm not sure if they will patch the wooden box glitch to get it, like many of the other exploits they have already patched in Stalker 2. I agree its definitely better but I'd still path to pick up this new gear before heading over personally. Beyond the crazy high repair cost it literally invalidates most other armor sets in the early/mid game hahaha
The point of the video was "early game" items. If you wish to financially cripple your whole playthrough, then get the diamond exosuit early game. Even late game its a pain.
@@conraddejongh3898define early game. Because in the video he's all over the map getting "non"-early game items. The Diamond Exoskeleton isn't a pain to run. If you can play smart enough to run the gear in this video, you can run the Diamond Exoskeleton. Just play smart, don't be a bullet sponge or take unnecessary damage. Most importantly, repair often and as early as possible. Repair costs go up exponentially as durability goes down. I am running the Diamond Exoskeleton, Saiga-12, and Kharod no problem. I'm actually making more credits than I'm spending. I'm still in the Garbage zone. I basically go on a mission/objective, play smart, loot everything, return, sell (sell broken weapons in Rostok), repair (at a green tech), repeat. I think a lot of people are treating this game like an fps such as Call of Duty. Big mistake. Slow down. Stop. Look around. Play smart.
