- In this video I try my best to bring a trailer that has seen better days back to life! It was a long process but it rewarded in the end, enjoy! It's a longer video but very satisfying to watch the whole process!
Here is the link to another trailer I rebuilt after this one: • Repairing another Used...
Hey everyone; click this link to see me rebuild another used trailer like this one! ua-cam.com/video/x64w1gVYQrU/v-deo.html
Great Job redoing the aluminum trailer. some hard panels, lights and cleaned up. she looks cool..
This is steel, not aluminum.
Excellent job, lovely trailer, great to see it brought back to life.
Thanks for the feedback!
Great job 👍👍👍
I simply can't believe the amount of dirt and rocks that was between the deck boards!!!!!😮 That's crazy!!!
Also, please wear safety glasses when grinding!!! You've got tiny flecks of wood and metal flying into your eyes!!!!💯🙈
It was in horrible state indeed, and yes, you’re right!
you did a nice job...when I first saw it I was like "not much to work with" but it had a solid "heart" for you to work on. well done
Thanks Robert!
give me a bit of hope is that what you honestly think REALLY ?????????????????
@@allanhughes7859 yeah you did a great job. did not think it possible well done
Классно сделал! 💪. Хороший прицеп, жалко только что без тормозов
Amazing. Where you are must not be near any salt. In Canada where I'm from a 6 mths old trailer is covered in rust already. This frame with a wash looked almost brand new!
Here in Belgium there’s almost no snow or frost in the winter time. So yeah, no or close to no salt needed.
What kind of metal do the manifacturers use tho, here in eu they mostly use galvanised steel for the trailer frames
You should always have safety glasses on always when using a grinding wheel.
Impressive!
Thanks!
Nice video!
Merci! Kvind echt satisfying om naar te zien ;)
That's a new and a little dirty trailer to start out ! All it needs is a new deck ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
To some degree, you’re right!
@@beronosgarden5501 You ought to look at the trailers around here !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
- Å fan! 👍
Perfect work ! You should paint the side of the panels to avoid water infiltration and early deterioration.
Nice job, but you should have waterproofed the edges.
Epic glowup
Jeppa!
Bravo
grand changement entre avant et après
merci!
Nice work, but when you see rust, please remove it before you screw something on it and put something against rust on it
Yellow lights or reflectors go in front of the axels. Red lights/reflectors go behind the axels.
Didn’t know that!
Red if viewed from rear, yellow if viewed from side, white if viewed from front. Mudguard should have white reflector on front. UK and probably EU rules.
White facing forwards, red facing rear yellow/orange facing to the side. At least for the UK and many (all) EU countries.
@Owen Griffiths
We don't have white lights in the USA, unless it's an automobiles headlight. But we do have white back up lights.
NICE
thanks!
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
la rouille a été enlevée sommairement !!?? dommage !!! un petit ponçage et anti rouille passé dessus avant de remonter les catadioptres et le système d'attelage aurait été bien !!!
Wear eye protection. Believe me if you get metal in your eye you wish you had.
Mooi gedaan.
Verder spatborden, verlichting, lagers, etc vervangen. @@beronosgarden5501
If I may ask: what was the total cost for the restoration?
If I can remember correct, 250-300
What is that hose thing your using to clean the metal? Is there a chemical in it?
Pure water
It's called a garden hose doofus.
Is that just plywood your using?
No, it’s special treated wood for trailers or concrete works.
Does anyone know what the boarding is called, it looks like a covered plywood but I wondered if it was something else.
It’s called “betonplex” in Dutch
@@beronosgarden5501 Thanks, I appreciate the information and reply.
It looks like extremely weathered plywood.
We have a product in the UK called buffalo board
How big is the loading area?
3x1.25m
No brakes?
It’s only suited for
Not required on a trailer of 750kg or less.
Well done, I have the same trailer.. Do you know the name of the manufacturer? I need some documentation use mine on the Rd..
Nothing visible for information on the trailer
@@beronosgarden5501 thanks for taking the time to reply 👍
Was that mum that came to the door?
😂
How thick are the bottem plate?
I think 25/35 mm, can’t remember exactly
No it's more like 12mm from what i have seen. 25 or 32mm does not exist its 12 or 18mm maximum
Trailer with 1ton or more without trailerbrake ???? That not fun
It’s suited for 750kg
It looks like 750kg or less so no brakes are required.
I thought the same with it being a twin axle, then you got to ask why a twin axle if can't carry the weight?
@@standbanger2 because a twin axle is more stable when loading something like a sit & ride mower when the trailer isn't hooked up to the towing vehicle.
Ganz schön viel Pfusch
Unprofessionell😂
not even close to a restoration. just a everyday basic repair. rust was not sanded and primed. nice work though.
Thank you!
He did restore the paneling.
Personally I would of turned it into a tiny camper trailer.
Great job👍👍👍
