It is always good to hear from you and see your progress. Iceman seems to be a wonderful friend to all. In the recent past, you mentioned that your weight has dropped. Some research about hikers and daily calories they require suggested that a 165 pound man who carries a 40 lb. backpack, going up and down hills with a 5-10% grade, moving at the rate of 2 MPH will burn about 570 calories per hour. That is about 4500 calories per day. Climbing all those boulders and stressing and straining to maintain your balance would only increase the amount of calories you consume. Any idea how many calories you have been consuming each day in your diet? Something to think about. Thanks for sharing your day. You are doing a terrific job. Getting near the 1700 mile mark. Amazing!
Iceman is amazing, my goodness he covers from VA to ME helping hikers. Another raint, muddy day, but you're doing fantastic and you saw a moose, very cool. Be safe out there.
The Suttons! Cool 😎..I think, once you get to MA. the trail will be easier than what you have been through. I'm sure you have gotten reports on your beans and corn. Also how much rain. Hope it's coming along. Did your neighbor cultivate for you at the time? Looking good 👍.

Ok, I'm a little confused! Why are you going North? And Farmer, about when will you be done with this 100 miles and head to Harper's Ferry?
