Yes, Timer function is available. As you scroll through the radio menu you will find TIMR adjust the time with the data + and - to move time to your liking.
Yes, the programming is very similar but you will need to adjust the pitch to your needs for the 450 but the other setting are very close. Should be able to get started with the numbers and settings.
This video is for the Trex 250 PLUS DFC. Setting as shown work very well right out of the box. These settings will get you started and you can of coarse make adjustments as you progress or feel appropriate. Thanks for watching.
hi Jeff,ive got a problem with this unit! I have a dx8 mode two but once the unit is set up its in mode 1,so when I use the pitch on the left stick its elevator and the right stick is pitch and throttle?????????? any ideas???? all plugs in the right way so god know? thanks

No mate, its just sitting here, biggest waste of £105 ive ever spent, oh apart from the trex 150 lol
I would check them modes for the controller. That's what I have been reading
