Diogo Macena Agreed!!! They’re all good, something funny: I haven’t read all of the books! I mostly know the story from the movies/ video games/other media, lol please don’t hate!!!!!
"Look into my eyes...You are one of us." "....I cant see them." "Oh...Well....Pretend your looking at them. "Ohhh, okay." "One of us!....One of us!!.... ONE OF US!!"
Actually, Nazgul means Ringwraith. "Nazgul" is both the singular and plural, but you can have one Nazgul, one Ringwraith, or five Nazgul, five Ringwraiths, or all nine Nazgul, nine Rinwraiths. "Nazgul" does not necessarily refer to them collectively, and "Ringwraith" does not necessarily refer to them singularly. But yes, the Fell Beasts are the winged creatures that they ride.
Khamûl: "Shiii-re... Baaa-giiins..." It's probably my favorite scene of the movies together with when the Nazgûl to Bree and enter their room and mercilessly stab the Hobbits' former beds. These scenes really reveal how terrifying it is to be hunted by the Ringwraiths. You see how much fear is as much of a weapon to them than their blades. They're some of the most formidable and charismatic villains in the history of litterature and cinema.
The film's didn't get everything right, but the Nazgûl were pretty damn good. You've got to get the right balance between "insubstantial spectres of death" and "arrogant kings dragged into inhuman evil," and I think they mostly nailed it. It would have been easy to just make them spooky ghosts, like what was done in The Hobbit films, but I think the extra physicality of having human actors really added to the menace. I remember watching the films as a child, before I'd read the books. I remember not quite being able to tell whether they were human or monstrous at first, until Frodo looks at them while wearing the ring.
@@Ninjat126 I fully agree with you. I much prefer them to be spirits trapped in real armor and wielding real weapons. The menace they project become much more immediate this way. I've always felt that immaterial spirits are too abstract to be really frightening. By having a physical vessel, it makes them more real to me. That and I've always loved black knights in fantasy settings, so the Nazgûl really speak to me in this form.
+xXx_SauronSWAGlord_xXx One does not simply walk into mordor...its black gates are guarded by more than just orc's...and the great eye...is ever watchful
This is the kind of music piece that'll put chills in your spine. The accompaniment of what Ringwraiths look like and what their sinister meaning of life is, adds on to the suspense in this
Imagine those things riding their horses in a charge towards Frodo all by himself, swords drawn, and he is helplessly by himself as this shit is gonna go down

Man these guys were so intimidating, I thought that they were pretty cool until that one scene outside minas morgul, you are already on edge from Frodo walking onto the bridge and they haunting statues but then the witch king screeches and they go from intimidating and cool to f*cking terrifying that scene will never loose it’s impact. You couldn’t imagine how terrified Sam and Frodo must have been at that moment.

I did a little research on the topic, and I found that most think the only one capable of standing against the Nazgul is the Elven lord Glorfindel. They point to the fact that Gandalf (the most powerful of the fellowship) is on roughly equal terms with the Witch King of Angmar. Another point was the Nine's "black breath" which would have destroyed any weapon the fellowship used against them, and poisoned the weapon's wielder.
Sean Kavo Hmm, yeah might be so, since there's LotR and now the Hobbit in three parts. And if Jackson directs Silmarillion, I wonder whether it's gonna be a trilogy too.
I think P J should do the fall of Arnor as well... And do like 3 movies of the Witch King taking, Cardolan, Rhudaur and Arthedain with Arthedain having the main big battle like Return of the King and Battle of the Five Armies!

My first movie that i saw in a theater was LOTR. I was 10 years old.
I just recently rewatched the trilogy(my friend hadn't seen the movies yet) and I can honestly say that the Nazgul theme is my personal favorite throughout the whole thing.
I can’t get their song out of my head after all these years.
*Nêbâbîtham Magânanê*
We renounce our Maker.
*Nêtabdam dâur-ad*
We cleave to the darkness.
*Nêpâm nêd abârat-aglar*
We take unto ourselves the power and glory.
*îdô Nidir nênâkham*
Behold! We are the Nine,
*Bârî’n Katharâd*
The Lords of Unending Life.
I cry when I listen to this. As I cry when I see Rings of Power. Why do I cry is inverse in each case.
I listen to this while Playing Bloodborne and fighting the Shadows of Yahrnarm
That fight seemed annoying. XD
PERFECT
Lol I do in skyrim on shadowmere 😂😂
I listen to this while playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
That fight is a 3 vs 1 is just pure Intensity
L.O.T.R. is a masterpiece of a book and a film, no questioning that!
Diogo Macena Agreed!!! They’re all good, something funny: I haven’t read all of the books! I mostly know the story from the movies/
video games/other media, lol please don’t hate!!!!!
As long as you stop with the LOTR movies. Screw what they did with the Hobbit.
"Look into my eyes...You are one of us."
"....I cant see them."
"Oh...Well....Pretend your looking at them.
"Ohhh, okay."
"One of us!....One of us!!.... ONE OF US!!"
A Ringwraith is the individual Black Hood, a servant of Mordor.
The Nazgul are the Nine, the collection of them.
A fell beast is the thing they ride.
3:57 that violin part is so awesome!!!!!
Sam: I thought we killed them!?
Gollum: Kill? Noooo...no you cannot kill them.
The horses did though.
these guys were literally the reapers of death on horses trying to hunt down the hobbits. Such cool and scary and badass characters.
Witch King > Lich King > Night King
love the use of old Numenorean....
I like to hear this playing Skyrim, when I'm riding Shadowmere through the night in pursuit of my contract.
Lol I do that too 😂 I wear some black robe though and use vampire drain cuz it looks cool 😂😂
Where is my ring?
+Sauron
I have it.
+Lord Sauron Lmao...Do we have a third Sauron to show up??
+Sauron
I shall find it for you, master.
You are a good servant
+xXx_SauronSWAGlord_xXx One does not simply walk into mordor...its black gates are guarded by more than just orc's...and the great eye...is ever watchful
This is the kind of music piece that'll put chills in your spine. The accompaniment of what Ringwraiths look like and what their sinister meaning of life is, adds on to the suspense in this
Imagine those things riding their horses in a charge towards Frodo all by himself, swords drawn, and he is helplessly by himself as this shit is gonna go down
2:34 -- Love that part
*Lyrics of the Nazgul:*

Hey, that's racist. Just because you can't understand the Black Speech of Mordor doesn't mean you can disparage it like that.
NAZGUL! There I said it!
Now imagine the Witch-king of Angmar versus Darth Maul.
+ForgottenKnight1 no contest...
+XerasDezarrys Darkness awaits.
+ForgottenKnight1 Am I the only one that likes the bad guys more than the good guys ?
+Balalaika The Bear No you are not the only one
+ForgottenKnight1 Even better, imagine a mashup between Duel of Fates and the Revelation of the Ringwraiths
Sheer terror, no villain has ever been able to match the sheer terror of these boys
Omg I love this music!!!
I love the last 15 seconds the most, so eerie but powerful
My cat turned into a fell beast when I played this out loud. Whoops.
Fly you fools!
Zimri Leisher Only with the eagles....
My Labradors a warg someone help?
+Unanimous0001 wrong chronology
Unanimous0001
smaug definitely, its just hes dead by the time the nazgul come along with the fell beasts. in that situation, fell beasts beat a corpse thats been dead for a few decades, lol
Our enemies fall, from low and high
To salted earth, through burning sky
And all shall know our Ringwraith's cry
Let Vengeance Ring - and all hope die!
""Old fool!" he said. "Old fool! This is my hour. Do you not know Death when you see it? Die now and curse in vain!" And with that he lifted high his sword and flames ran down the blade."
From the ashes, a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
... the crownless again, shall be *king*
**screeches in nazgul**
Man these guys were so intimidating, I thought that they were pretty cool until that one scene outside minas morgul, you are already on edge from Frodo walking onto the bridge and they haunting statues but then the witch king screeches and they go from intimidating and cool to f*cking terrifying that scene will never loose it’s impact. You couldn’t imagine how terrified Sam and Frodo must have been at that moment.
This song make me want to be one of the black riders!!
Dishonored Gamer until you put the ring in and see they're faces as shriveled up prune
Not a good idea.
Dishonored Gamer Are you sure you want to be a slave to the greatest evil of Middle-Earth?
Lmao be careful what you wish for.
deadpool kaboom I would
I just watched this music all played live, all three movies at Lincoln Center. Amaze.
Aragorn: NAZGUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Witch king: Woah woah woah man not the N-word, that's wraithist.
Nazgul: what the hell man that's offensive!
Legolas: Aragorn man you going around offending everyone nowadays
Aragon: I meant no disrespect my pointy ear friend
Witch King: DUDE DUDE YOU MADE A WRAITHIST COMMENT TO AN ELF!
00f
Aragorn: OK OK, will just call 'em the Black Riders...
Nazgul,Legolas together: DUDE DAFAQ?!
Gimli: not that wraithist tbh.
Aragorn: thanks, my fellow dwarf!
Gimli: man wtf is wrong with you?!
Gimli: Have you seen two hobbits?
Aragorn: Two halflings, they would look like children to your eyes.
Pippin: Whoa whoa, what the hell man, that was uncalled for.
Been listening to this for 10 hours on repeat. Still haven't grown tired of it
Come here for 4:17?
Best Bit!
4:09
" Do you not know death when you see it old man; THIS IS MY POWER!" " You have failed, the world of men will fall"
The Nazgûl are the most epic fantasy creatures ever created! :D
Fair question. Thought of that myself, but please do notify that even if this song is named after the Ringwraiths, Nazgüls, it doesn't mean that they purely own it.Many songs are named differently from the scenes they are used on.
1:33 that awesome pursuit scene in horseback
I get out of bed everyday with this song playing in the background. :D
Star Wars music vs lord of the rings music
Isaac Zelinski oof
Can I choose both?
Lotr all day dude. SW is a close second
@@_Hunter839 i agree
LOTR is way better (books and movies), but I think Star Wars barely clinches the music.
Nêbâbîtham Magânanê
Nêtabdam dâur-ad
Nêpâm nêd abârat-aglar

"We refused our creator.
We cleave to the darkness.
We grasp for ourselves power and glory.
Behold! We are the Nine,
The Lords of Unending Life."
"Common" he said
"If it's Gandalf we can surprise him" he said
PURE EPICNESS!!! My God this song gives me the chills!!!
Try playing this in the background while assaulting a fort in Shadow of War after act 3.
I was listening to this while invading a fortress and also wearing the Nazgûl armor so does that count for two points?
At last a theme for the newspaper I work for....
3:53 walking alone at night, with fog around you...damn i need to try it
* casual nazgul riding with their horses eith tbehind
Amazing .... One of the greatest movies ever created
The moment you find out there are thirteen families who control most of the money ...
..OF THE WORLD.
Characters with 0 haters. These look more scarier than Sauron.
I so want to learn black-speech.
That´s bad because lyrics are in numenorian language. Not black speech
Black Speech is an incomplete language. Tolkien never really finished it. You be better off learning Numenorian or Orc Speech
@@haskapaska called adûnaic.
me too. I feel ad that tolkein could finish Quenya and Sindarin but not the coolest language in middle earth
"Now my Black Speech is a little rusty; actually I don't know much at all, the language is a pain in the ass..."
no music or so called scary movies strike's fear in ur heart like these creatures ..... with this amazing music .... its even more scary........
My favorite LOTR song!
Brilliant, my favourite track of the trilogy.
lol my cat was on my lap and I couldnt reach the remote, so I played this and he ran away and then I finally took the remote
Music is a powerful force
To be fair, in the book it was more than 300 Rohirrim. I don't remember the exact number, but I want to say it was around 1000.
Anyone notice that the "refrain" sounds vaguely like "...Save us... From Sauron..."?
I know this is a super late reply but they don’t want to be saved, they relish the power he grants them and above all they yearn for more power their greed is what binds them to him
I did a little research on the topic, and I found that most think the only one capable of standing against the Nazgul is the Elven lord Glorfindel. They point to the fact that Gandalf (the most powerful of the fellowship) is on roughly equal terms with the Witch King of Angmar. Another point was the Nine's "black breath" which would have destroyed any weapon the fellowship used against them, and poisoned the weapon's wielder.
I hope the next lotr trilogy will cover the fall of Arnor so we can see what the nazgul were like before they turned into this wretched form.
There is no next LotR trilogy, and never will be.
Holly Short I Think he means the silmarillion
Sean Kavo Hmm, yeah might be so, since there's LotR and now the Hobbit in three parts. And if Jackson directs Silmarillion, I wonder whether it's gonna be a trilogy too.
I think P J should do the fall of Arnor as well... And do like 3 movies of the Witch King taking, Cardolan, Rhudaur and Arthedain with Arthedain having the main big battle like Return of the King and Battle of the Five Armies!
When Arnor fall, the Nine were already Nazgul.
The intense sense of evil has just come back to me. I'm frightened to walk in my local forest now!
27 Bree's citizens disliked this!
Love how the last sentence in the descr. is snatched right out of Magpie's Nest.
I love lord of the rings
Holy shit this music gives me the chills... more than the chills. I'm filled with dread. HELP!
Shit always gets real @4:09 🗡
In fairness shit got real the second these guys were released.
Agreed. Couldn't help but grip my seat in excitement when I heard this again.
