I think the best thing is how he's one of the few people these days that remain a REAL human being. People call it ecentricities but that's bullshit, he mantains that real artistic spark and nurtures it in a way. He has this real otherworldly sparkle in his eye that's very genuine amd honest but at the same time doesn't give to much of a shit exept for what really emotionally draws him and only puts energy into those on his boat.
My favourite director! Such a fascinating person
One of my heroes, whose had a huge inspiration on my filmmaking and art in general. Thanks Tim
Jim Cannatelli He remains one of the most inspiring directors in Hollywood
Me see's a Tim Burton interview > 29 minutes in Length, Grabs snacks and sits back to enjoy the GENIUS
He's the best !I would love to be so lucky to be in one of his movies
Just watched Big Eyes on Netflix - totally love! Tim is a very genuine person - enjoyed this interview. Btw, Tim and I both graduated from Burbank High... he is a tad bit younger than moi so never knew him but I am quite proud of him!
Tim Burton, John Carpenter and James Cameron are my favourite filmmakers. There are many other directors I admire and respect, but these three are my all-time best. Love Tim! Cannot wait for Beetlejuice 2.
Tony Anastasio mine too
He reminds me of like a skinny santa. I don't know why he just reminds me of that, I think it's his eyes. Skinny, goth, Santa. He seems wonderful.
Great film. He is right, Amy Adams performance as Margaret is amazing.
Christoph Waltz was better though ;D
Jasper Affonso It's not a competition. Both can be great, and I don't think one was better than the other, they were just both great.
I know it's not a competition, just voicing my opinion! Just as yours is that they were both as great as eachother.
Coy Hampton My 2nd Tim Burton movie
You get such great guests. Thank you very much for putting all these up. I especially enjoyed the one with Teller because so infrequently do we get to hear him speak, and he's such a brilliant man.
Another good one. You're really starting to create a niche for yourself!
Also Tim is a lot kinder than I thought he'd be
I went to see Big Eyes today and I loved everything about the movie. The cinematography. the story. the acting, all simply amazing. Well done Tim! I wonder how much it cost to make this movie?
By the way, Big fish is one of my favorite movies of all times. I find that in the interview I kind see Edward Scissor-hands all over again. I always wondered how does Edward go to the bathroom? Yes, I saw the Seinfeld episode. lol
Great interview, really interesting hear what Burton has to say about the actors and how he engages in the film process.
As someone who doesn't live in an English-speaking country, I was a little disappointed that this video did not introduce the story-line of "Big Eyes." However, that said, I was very impressed with Tim Burton, who--unlike so many film directors--is *not* full of himself and does not have what Americans call "attitude."
He is one of the most respected director in Hollywood, only second to Steven Spielberg
Sou muito fã do tim Burton😄👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕
you can tell he needed that hiatus...he's back though!!!!!! He looks like he's lost weight, he seems more focused, and seems like he just made a great film!.... :)
Just found this channel -its great, and i am glad for some interesting interviews -thanks!
SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A CHEESEBURGER!!!!
Sin duda alguna Tim es el mejor director de cine que exiate, yo lo amo ♡
Tim is truly a great genius because he got short little Mr. Mom to look like a superhero. Nobody else could have done that. As we used to say back then, "Most directors would have a better chance of making DIANE Keaton into Batman!"
Great!
I love the movie👍
Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have the same opinion on aging. :D
You know
He lost a lot of weight!
6:39
I want to see the kind of movies people make when they imagine they're Ed Wood making Plan 9, ....
sexy man sexy director doesn't get any better than this lolz he has left one legacy for us that is very special and remarkable at least he will haha. :)
He's Not Within The Pan Of Our Nadir
He Isn't Depressing

WOW , Tim lost some weight !!
wow that guy has loss weight
Id give it a b+ . Interesting story.
Hmh Tim looks gaunt and too thin for his age. you can lose weight for healty issues but there is a limit.
Tim Burton should take tom cruise in his next film because tom cruise is perfect for tim Burton.
lol you do know nothing, tom cruise is a terrible actor, he tried to be Edward Scissorhands but burton fucked him off
Films are too corporate...
Most boring questions of all time
he is so weak,slim...why?:(((
He looks normal, like he used to be, he lost all the extra weight of the past years.Good on him!
i think this is not good.
he had perfect weight for his age. i hope he is alright, and there isn't a bad thing behind this weight lost.
If you think Burton lost weight, look at his composer Danny Elfman now a days! We should worry about him.
Burton is an ectomorph
tennismediadynamics ectomorph is tall and skinny. His weight wasn't a good thing. This is what I imagined Tim looking like in these days way back since the late 80s I visioned him this way.
Such stupid questions....
Anyone else not impressed by the distortion of truth to fit the hollywood agenda? Nice cinematography but the facts were changed/made up to make the story more dramatic and more convenient. Making sure the "bad guy" Walter was bad in a black and white way, and Margaret pristine perfect - good in every way. Over-acted bad-guy Walter in the courtroom scene towards the end. Overdone.
Since this movie came out, information has emerged that Walter thought of the big eyes, but the movie says Margaret was doing it before she met him. He didn't have the technical skill but he had the vision. Walter is dead, so can't provide his side. We all know she painted, but where would she be without Walter? Life is more complicated than a fairytale Burton film, and something like this deserves accuracy and truth.
+chaiTV Information has also emerged that Walter had a cure for cancer, but lost it in the court battle.
+chaiTV Yeah. I saw that too. It seems if you look around enough, you'll find information about anything and anyone. It all has to be true, otherwise such information would never exist.
chaiTV This movie is 99% accurate said by Margaret herself what her word isn't enough for you? Walter had the opportunity to draw it in court and he didn't he was guilty I think you're just doubting her
