I always thought there were never enough guitar solos in POTF songs. He's an amazing guitarist but hardly gets given the chance to show off and really add something special to the music 👍
He was given a full leeway in Alan Wake 2, the guy shreds fine, alright!
I think Ollie kinda goes with the feel of the song and does a solo when he feels like the song calls for it. I myself personally don't think the band tells him "No, you only get 2 solos on this album, and make them as short as possible." The band has never struck me as one that operates that way. Of course, I could be completely wrong in my assessment
He usally have couple of amazing solos when they play live. And it is awesome.
Sorry, but in "Take control", or "Heral of Dakness", he's quite good!

Been a fan of the band since Twilight Theater and I'm just now discovering this! I knew Ollie was talented, but this man is next level. Has very strong Steve Vai/Marty Friedman/Joe Satriani vibes! Wish he would record more songs like this!
