The Ink Spots - Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall

- The Ink Spots were a popular vocal group that helped define the musical genre that led to rhythm & blues and rock and roll,
and the subgenre doo-wop. They and the Mills Brothers, another black vocal group of the 1930s and 1940s, gained much acceptance in the white community.

I feel so bad that I didn't know about this masterpiece before playing Fallout.
Yahya DeeZy No need to feel bad.

How could anyone dislike this kind of music?
Or people that have a different taste in music? My best mate adores this band, and she sends me tracks by them all the time, but they do nothing for me. I prefer Imogen Heap and The Drums. Your taste in music does not make you superior to someone that digs *Eminem*.
Kristen Lacy
You just said that Justin Bieber may be better than the fucking Ink Spots. Your opinoin is invalid.
Oh, is that what I said? "Justin Bieber may be better than The Ink Spots." Thank you for explaining the context of my comment, you closed-minded fuck. Your taste in music is obviously superior to everyone elses'. Congratulations. ......Learn how to spell the word "opinion" before you talk to me.
Kristen Lacy That was an obvious typo. Calm your titties; it happens.
Kristen Lacy
It is a fact that people have different tastes in music and musical standards are completely subjective. It just so happens that if your standards of music allow a possible world wherein the proposition "Justin Bieber is better than the Ink Spots" is capable of being true then your musical standards suck.
I used to sing this song to myself in the '40's as an 11 year old on my paper tossing run in Australia.

I can't believe how good these songs are. My dad told me he hated the songs back then, but truthfully I love them. They are much more realistic and required a lot more talent.I owe Fallout 3 a lot.
He hated The Ink Spots?
Is yo dad rascist?
From what I remember is that it was fallout 4
Also who would hat the ink spots they make the BEST song not even exaggerating
@@Litterallybachiratrue, also funny seeing someone comment 10 minutes ago on an 11 year old comment lmao 😂
When I listen to these old songs, I imagine there voices echoing for an eternity as there ghostly spirits continue to play on stage for an empty concert hall with black and white illuminating the air

ink spots and the platters were awesome
They don't make em' like that anymore mister. He sounds like a great man
After 50 repetitions of "Butcher Pete", this comes on and you can finally relax for a minute with a Nuka Cola while strolling through the wasteland, before more "Butcher Pete" comes on.

I am so glad fallout 3 introduced me to this group. I had never heard of the Ink Spots prior to playing and I love their music now. I don't think I would have come across them for years otherwise.
Their voices have so much soul, it’s honestly moving. God bless them all, and everyone listening. I’ll be listening till I can’t anymore
some folks can looooooooooose the bluuuuuuuuuuuuues in their hearth, but when i think of youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu another shower starts
how good are their voices.heavenly
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is falling in mine
Into each heart some tears must fall
But some day the sun will shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their hearts
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is falling in mine
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much, too much is fallin' in mine
Into each heart some tears must fall
But some day the sun will shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their heart
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is fallin' in mine
Into each and every life some rain has got to fall
But too much of that stuff is fallin' into mine
And into each heart some tears got to fall
And I know that someday that sun is bound to shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their heart
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is fallin' in mine
You're awesome
No matter how down I'm feeling, this song can always bring a smile to my face. It reminds me that no matter who you are, no matter what kind of life you were born into, some rain will fall, but there will always be sunshine at the end of the storm.
What an amazing opening scene of episode 2
I see where you're coming from
I just had to upload it lol
Was looking for a comment like this
A Scientist and Dogmeat.

Oh hey, an ink spots song that doesn't have the same opening.
+pipboy344 you noticed that too? ahahaha but be honest, it's pleasant and only in some songs.
ps: there's still the talked verse at 2:07 like all their other songs ;)

-I Don't Stand a Ghost of a Chance With You
was kind of amazed tbh
VoidBeyondTheRift that's because they're not by ink spots ahah
and this is actually by Ella Fitzgerald
...and it has a spoken word segment. Which other songs, PERFORMED by the ink spots, do not. Which most of the songs, PERFORMED by the Ink Spots do. Make sense?
I've loved music like this since I was a kid. Fallout made me love them a lot more for putting such amazing music in an amazing game.
Hi!
I listened to the inkspots with my grandmother, she used to listen to it as a girl before WW2, its such lovely chilled out music, you cant help but love it!
Yes, a very young Ella Fitzgerald. Wow! What a classic! Thank you!
Anyone in 2024 loving this music?
This was my grandfathers favorite song, and it played at his funeral, I miss you granpa
May he Rest In Peace(don’t ask why I’m replying to a 10 year old comment)
When I was in my late teens (early 80s) I used to listen to this old time jazz station because I loved early jazz and swing. Which is strange because I was a suburban white kid from California who was really into the punk rock scene and even roadied for several bands. So glad I was introduced to so many genres of music at an early age.
This song really hits on a sad day
yes, after car crash also hits harder.
When you kill your business parters kids in a drunken car crash kinda mood😞😣😣
I'm proud to have grown up, with this kinda music!!!!!!
I feel like the radio in fallout 3 is the perfect version it keeps you feeling down while traveling dangerous lands and gets you in the mood
As a gen z two generations from the 1930s and 40s i love them, and these songs that the Ink Spots have made are truly a masterpiece because they knew how to use and take advantage of their voices rather then the auto tune we hear nowadays.
Theres a reason they're called "Oldies but goodies"
A classic song, and a truly exceptional performance,I really enjoyed listening to this again. Known it for 40 years and the song hasn't aged a day. Sounds just as fresh now as then! The piano sounds quite remarkable.
This is a masterpiece I love the inkspots
I’m 24 years old and I love listening to the ink spots 👌🏻
WE MAKING IT OUT OF VAULT 111 WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's Three Dog (Howls) and you're listening to Galaxy News Radio, we're radio free wasteland and we're here....for you...
I don't understand why Three Dog is so popular. I find him annoying.
@Dudemon-1 very annoying lol
My favourite Ink Spots song, it's utterly wonderful

This group had so many people in it they have quite a history.
It be blessing to have singers today like the "Ink Spots." The were beutiful singers.
The Ink Spots were one of the greatest singing groups to emerge from the 50's, I still think the group is singing some today. Wonderful music.
I remember my dad used to love this song. takes me back. humm
haha, my Dad used to say the title of this song every time I complained as a kid!
The Ink Spots are my favorite artist from that era!
I have a feeling this song is going to be quite a bit more popular sooner rather than later
Damn i had forgotten this amazing song, got lucky this was in the L.A Noire soundtrack.

fallout and L.A. Noire. your source for finding old music that you love. *smiles giving a thumbs up with a twinkle in his eye*
I’m here from L.A. Noire
I love this song and am so happy they added it to the new Fallout series, i nearly cried! The female singer, Ella Fitzgerald, has such an amazing voice
This is straight from the heart. This is pure quality.
Some folks can lose the blues in their hearts.......
heavy bar when you think about the era Ink Spots and Fitzgerald grew up in
this song is such a great song for explaining the world's situation right now.
20 people have much rain and tears in their lives.
I love 50s music!! ♥
Literally the most powerful sentence ever spoken...from a video game....a really really AMAZING video game...

I Love This Song Its Beautiful
I like this classic kind of music. It's way better than modern music.
Amazing song
I'm 19 years old and in my childhood I liked to listen to inkspots on UA-cam 😊, wow this is music
If I have one thing to thank Fallout 3 for it's introducing me to amazing classics like this. The music was what really kept me hooked, I was and still am addicted to listening to GNR anytime I play it. And I love how all of their songs start out the same :)
I'm so glad to see that more and more people are interested in music from Fallout, even after all these years
This song is amazing. Whenever I feel down, I sing this to myself.
the only music that not begin with the characteristic intro
Do you mean the classic ink spots intro, guitar be-ops then piano, cause this is the other one its piano first, there are a couple others that start like this
As a truck driver, GNR and the classical music station from Fallout 4 (Institute Radio) is music I actually play on Spotify while I'm on the road.
Love this since 70 years ago.even more now, life was so beautiful then still si, we are enjoying this song I live in Mexico,
this Might just be the best song I have ever heard.
I heard this song in a play. Ever since i loved
The Ink Spots AND Ella Fitzgerald, might wanna mention that ;)
Ooh, thank you. I was just going to ask who the lovely lady was.
But, I didn't recognize her; I thought it might be Dinah Washington.
my mother just adored these guys she didnt care about black or white we never thought about it we are irish and god the lead singer sent shivers down her spine and white i often listen to the inkspots
This song has ended up meaning a lot to me. To think i never would have heard it without a video game. Fallout 3 is awesome, but this song needs to be played more places.
Loving music like this makes you special. Forget the masses. They want coke commercials.
"Oh God how am I gonna tell jack... he- he would be devastated...
That why I buried them..."
If into each life some rain must fall, THEN WHY WHY AM I FLOODED?!
Climate change.
Fallout 3 and L.A. Noire.
The Walten Files.
im 12 and im like the only kid in my class who loves this older music.
Love me some classical and jazz
To all you people who say “Modern music is rubbish compared to this”, you obviously haven’t taken any time to actually explore modern artists outside of judging all music by what you hear on adverts/the radio/Spotify charts.
Fallout tv series brought me here 🙌🏽
Allan Roberts and Doris Fisher's timeless classic beautifully and unforgettably realised by the wonderful Ella and The Ink Spots brings memories of childhood flooding (please excuse pun) through the old neurotransmitters once more.
Into each life, some may live this sad song.
75 years old and this music is still great
The Ink Spots AND Ella Fitzgerald? That's like celebrating Christmas, my birthday and losing my virginity all at the same time!
Somehow this is the top comment

Ella Fitzgerald such a wonderful singer.
“All the way from Indianapolis. Let’s hear a song from The Ink Spots. Right here, on K.T.I”
Sensacionais esses Ink Spots, foram os precursores do famoso The Platers. (eu ainda prefiro eles!)
Aqui tem a participação especial de Ella Fitzgerald.
