I went to a govt office in Chennai for an appointment , being a tamilian - I pulled my hair back and tied it tight , wore salwar kameez with dupatta and bindi as well. I was treated like a piece of crap. ! They couldn’t believe I was from Chennai and now a US citizen. Society has changed . … 90% of the people don’t look at the way they use to. Without style influenced by west and good appearance you are nothing in today’s world. Ongoing gyan may or may not change the society.

Great video!😃🙏🏽 Also, I had something to say...While many people are linking other people dictating a woman's choice in clothing only to 'revealing' clothes, I have a different story to share- Once, our family was supposed to go to a social gathering where people were supposed to dress-up somewhat fancily.And for going there, I wanted to create an artistic attire, which I did by combining different clothing items and jewellery, and the end results were, as I felt and as the relatives and friends who saw it admitted, very beautiful.But a number of my relatives prevented me from going to the gathering wearing that attire because it coincidentally happened to show my belly and a tiny part of my chest, so that I was obliged to wear more covered up clothes. Here, me wearing covered clothes was a result of other people dictating what I should wear, when I wanted to wear something 'revealing'; and, I wanted to wear the so-called 'revealing' attire not because I sought validation from men by revealing my body, but simply because I found the attire artistic and aesthetically pleasing; and if by wearing that outfit I wanted to show anything to people at all, it was not my body but my creativity and aesthetic sense.And I feel that most women who wear the so-called 'revealing' clothes do it for similar reasons and not for the male gaze; on the contrary the male gaze scares us away from wearing the clothes that we want to. If women being forced to wear 'revealing' clothes for the sake of other people is wrong, then women being forced to cover up for the sake of others is equally wrong- both are the subjugation of an individual's choice and preference by other's preferences. Society would have been nice if everyone could wear the clothes they want to, be it a burkha or a bikini, a sari or deep-neck top without the fear of being judged, where everyone would accept others and in turn be accepted themselves.Peace to all!❤

But how many people realise this? People are more focusing on there outer beauty and not exploring that inside them they have a beautiful world which can create, and have mystical powers to bring change inside and outside them
Thank goodness Sadhguru has addressed this obsession with “will I be acceptable if I look or wear this?” Wear only what YOU want, not what you think men would like. If men like it, they can wear it! As women, we don’t have to stoop to these levels to feel accepted or attractive. Being loving, strong and intelligent is more important. We all have something we are good at- don’t need to change yourself for others to recognise your talents and gifts 🙏🏽

nowadays everybody is acting like modi who pays 99 percent or more of his time on appearance, photography, camera angles, fancy dresses and scripted hollow talks..... all should try to replace him with a decent person of basic intelligence...
