Hi Jasmin, always so good to see you, beautiful cuttings, always love to see unboxings. Please stay safe and healthy, sending love and lots of hugs, bye for now.
Some Hoyas are Epiphytic like an Orchid. If it is tiny thin roots along the stem it is likely that you could mount it on wood. It will quickly attach and grow like crazy if watered every other day soaking in a tub of water for ten minutes each watering. A long cedar branch can be used even. A daily spray works great!
Thats very useful information. I have some Hoyas that have tiny thin roots along the stem. I will try to mount them, though watering regularly is not my game but will definitely try this out. Thanks !!
Make sure to use an extra piece. Some start out as semi-terrestrial and become Epiphytic. The roots just attach right to the tree branch finding those nooks and crevases in the bark:)
Nice cuttings! I’m rooting my first hoya cutting in dirt and it’s hard to tell if it’s working since I can’t see the roots if there are any and don’t want to bother it lol. Some of the leaves look to be deteriorating though so hope it’s okay 🤞🏼
Hey, I have never tried rooting Hoyas in soil only. Perlite works for me or even putting these cuttings in a box with half perlite+ half soil works best. Helps with the humidity ! I hope your root quickly !!
Ooo cute plants! Can't wait for the tour!
Thank you :)) I have procrastinating the tour. Its been a year since I did the last one. And now I am packing the whole house!
Cool new hoyas , thanks for sharing and keep safe
Thanks and stay safe!
