I want to thank you both for your passion for gardening. Because of your conversations l decided to introduce a Teasing Georgia in our garden. We liked this rose so much we added twelve more “Golden Hours “. Again thank you both.
I purchased Wollerton Old Hall and planted it as a bare root earlier this year. It is now beginning to bloom after just a few months. It is gorgeous! You’ll love it.
I love that you share your rose "knows" with us - thank you so much for these talks. You have the most gorgeous evening light on the side garden - the golden hour I think you say. Your daughter was right - tables need beautiful flowers ;) As you two were conversing I recognized them from what you planted along the side garden - so pretty together!
Love your rose chat videos! The sit down coffee with you guys chatting, the info on the individual rose and the different way it reacted to the climates you have lived in is great! Thank you! And Amber was right, the flowers on the table are a great addition!
Your roses are gorgeous, I am always fighting diseases in knockout roses zone 7b ...U said Hydrangeas are your favorite flower but based on videos the rose content seems to go agree with you.
Y’all should do a similar segment where you share the experiences people submit about the cultivar in question. Would be fun to see how different zones grow the same roses
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on Teasing Georgia rose. Just planted mine 3 days ago and I’m in zone 9a in Henderson, NV. We shall see if she will thrive here. Wish me luck. Thanks again and I love all your videos.
Thank you for this episode! I have been looking at Teasing Georgia for a while. She will be my first rose. And we live near Atlanta so she should do well. However, how do I keep the black spot away? Ambrose thank you for your service. It just warms my heart to see a warrior talk so passionately about beautiful things in our world. I’m sitting here with my Vietnam war veteran dad and showed him your video. He said, with a big smile on his face, “That’s nice...very nice.”
Your roses are absolutely beautiful! I planted some bare-root David Austin roses in April this year they are still growing, I hope I can see them blooming this year.
Perfect timing for this video. 2 quart teasing Georgia that I ordered a few months back is hopefully will be delivered soon. I’m in zone 7b as well in Brooklyn New York. Planning to plant it in a container as well.
I’m loving your videos! Just bought a Teasing Georgia, I’ll put her to the test with 4 Hours of (Italian) Sun per day… let’s hope it’s enough for her to bloom 🙏🏻 super inspired by your passion 🥰
love your roses, yesterday I planted my 2 first David Austin roses, one of the is Windemere and the other is a climmer tess of the d'urbervilles. And today I bougth Teasin Georgia and Lady of Shallot, I will planted tomorrow, but am glad I came across your video can you give me any tips thank you kindly.
So happy for you! The roses will need plenty of water as they have just been planted. The first year they will give a few flowers first three years they are getting their roots established. As the roses get older they will be stronger and more prolific that’s around after the third year. In spring feed them we use rose tone from Espomaorganics. You have a longer growing season so feed them again around thebeginning of summer. Dead head after flowering to promote more blooms. We got videos on pruning them if you need advice. We will be showing more future videos on roses as we move soon to Texas and start our new garden. 🙏💐💚
So where could I purchase these types of roses? My nursery only has shrub roses. I love your garden it’s so magical 🥰, thank you for your service Ambrose🇺🇸
Love your video! I have a question, I planted the bare root of PRINCESS ALEXANDRA OF KENT about a month ago. I noticed today the new young canes wilted at noon time, and they perked back in the evening. Is it normal for DA roses? Thanks 🙏
As temperatures get warmer the roses will need more water. Make sure that soil around roses never dries out. Wilted canes at hottest time of day means the rose needs more water. It’s warmed up in our area so we water them every day early morning. 💐💚
I have this problem with my newly planted Teasing Georgia so thanks for asking the question. She has been in the ground 3 weeks and we have had quite a bit of rain during that time, so apart from watering in well I have not watered her much. I gave her half a bucket yesterday when I noticed the flopping in the hot sun but she still flopped today. I don’t want to overwater as the place she is planted is a sheltered area with good quality quite moist soil, but I will try again today.
You guys have inspired me to make a secret garden, but now spider mites are invading. Can you do a video or give me some help on how to get rid of them?
Hello! We used to get spider mites in our past garden it was because our small area didn’t have enough air circulation. We also now spray with IV Organics spray helps not only to keep bad insects away but from sun burn and many other things that can damage plants. 💚
Wonderful video. You and your hubby are great together. I have a Teasing Georgia in 3rd year in UK. She gets about 8 hours sun per day on an East facing fence beside an area of decking. This is a very warm spot in the summer. At present (late May) she has a mass of blooms waiting to open up. The weather has been cold here this spring. My question is, how will she cope in a shadier position? She has done so well for me so far that I want to buy another and container plant it to light up a shady area of the garden that only gets around 4 hours of direct sunlight a day. No overhanging trees though, just buildings and a tall fence that block off the sun. The fence I want to grow her on is also East facing but with less sun. She has to be container planted because of the roots of a small (not overhanging) tree coming from my neighbours garden. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
I want to thank you both for your passion for gardening. Because of your conversations l decided to introduce a Teasing Georgia in our garden. We liked this rose so much we added twelve more “Golden Hours “. Again thank you both.
Love all the rose chat :). Keep them coming.
Wish you showed us the container.

She's beautiful. I agree, yellow roses belong in a garden! I bought this one for my Aunt and Uncle.
Yellow is a must it brings so much happiness. Beautiful gift to your aunt and uncle. 🙏💐💚
Y’all should do a similar segment where you share the experiences people submit about the cultivar in question. Would be fun to see how different zones grow the same roses
That is a great idea! 🙏💐💚
@@GardenObsessions I’m in a zone 5B and just started my rose/perennial flower journey. 5 DA roses for a zone 5 garden haha

Hi there! Thanks for the lovely video. I am curious: How do you affix the roses to the siding of the house?
She is a beautiful rose and look how stunning she is against your red house !
I am a new subscriber and I am happy to have found your channel.
Hello! Welcome to Garden Obsessions! Thank you so much for joining us! 🙏💚💐 Have a lovely day. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Thanks for great info on Roses. I do have a question... can you explain Rosette Disease and signs of it... what to do if you suspect it

Morning can you show us how you transplant your potted rose in pots? Thank you

💚💚💚💚💚💚
What happens if you don’t give it anything to grow on to? Will it crawl like a ground cover or not?
Has this become a Austin Rose channel?
How do you treat black spots . I fight this every year. My roses start out beautiful I’m spring then later struggle
We just put out a new video we explain on todays rose tour what we do to protect our roses. 💐💚
GABRIEL Oak & EUSTACIA VYE are now available to order on David Austin Rose's. 😀
Can I plant this in pots and containers??
You sure can as long as the container is large enough. 💚

What do you do with the potted rose over winter
Hello! We are in zone 7b most of the roses are down to hardy zones 4 or 5. The potted roses stay out in the garden all winter. 🙏💐💚
Are u still in VA
Yes we still live in Virginia! 🙏💐💚
