Honestly bro! I’ve watched many UA-camrs and seen plenty hunting/diving content. Your uploads are by far THE BEST. It’s no wonder you’re not being sponsored by Māori tv because you need your own show. I actually love your whakaaro behind your practices and respect the teaching. My son and I watch your videos and have them on repeat especially during the winter season when we’re unable to get out as often. Bro, keep doing your thing. There’s a group of us who follow you so continue doing your thing. Love and respect to you.
Massive bro! Thank you so much, I'm glad you get a kick out of the vids, just an everyday guy sharing what I do brotha.

Kia ora bro love the videos man.. just wondering what stiffness your fins are.. Chur 🤙❤️
Chur brother thanks!!
I'm using a hard fin at the moment, but have got some Carbon medium stiffness on the way to try out, I'm not that experienced with fins and have only tried plastic, soft and hard so going to give medium a go and see if it makes any difference 🙌
Chur brother I’m still learning I’ve got medium was thinking of trying medium soft shin’s start to feel it after a long day.. shot for the info brother 🤙❤️
@@mrkaipo8510 sweet bro, yeah we always keep learning cuz!
Dive safe out there bro 🎯🙌
@@kaidownunder7870 Chur same to you brother keep those meke videos coming 🤙
What I wanna know is how do ya always get something in the coast you have the most shit weather you barely can get out due to the massive waves an shit weather 😂
I don't always come home with Kai, there are times when I don't get lucky. I'd say to have a successful dive and come home with Kai 100% comes down to planning and timing it right. Knowing when it's worth going, or knowing when to keep the gills dry is a desicion that is well thought out. Sometimes though you can go out, bit with the expectation that the conditions aren't the best but you will try anyway.
Having local knowledge of the areas is a huge benefit, if you already know where the target species are most likely to be youre already halfway there, then you need to wait for the correct tides so the water is the way you need it to be, current running for fish,or slack water for searching for crays etc, the lower the swell the better and the water visibility is also a big factor obviously.
After becoming quite experienced in my local areas I know where to go and at what times, and like you say we always have massive waves and shit weather but I'm quite lucky to have an ocean view from my house and I also keep a close eye on the weather👀. So as soon as I see an opportunity, the gears are packed and I'm out there in the Moana within 15mins💯💯💯🙌
That very helpful bro thanks a lot brother
Epic brother if your ever in the welly region and keen for a dive email me and ill get you onto a few spots with some of the boys keep up the mean kai mahi brother 🌊🌊💯🙏
Will do💯 thank you🤙
Love your work mate, I can never get enough of crays 🦞 Your daughter doesn't look too impressed at 3:50 😂
Haha she's slowly getting used to the water monsters I bring home 😆
