Just a simple tutorial on this fine saturday! Hope everybody is having a great weekend!
Such a good vibe!
Thank you and I love the positive energy.
Another good tip, if only zooming part way, is to right click on the 2nd key frame and select Ease In. It makes it a lot smoother when zooming, instead of a hard stop.
Thank you Ace!
Great explaination!!
Epic tutorial. Thanks for explaining this in detail w/o making it overly complicated. I'm using Premiere Pro for the first time and Yt tutorials like this one have been really helpful :) thanks again

Awesome! Thank you! :)
Thank you for a great video, love the accent
You can also do a zoom on a specific area buy using both "Position and Scale". Just always make sure to create proper start keyframes!
tnx man
Thank you so much for making these tutorials! I've learned a ton :)

Very helpful thank you very much
Thanks for watching ☺
Wow love that you intro fast-paced pics mix shots effect for this video, pls what effect is that or how can I achieve such? Thanks @Icelandic!! 🔥
Thank you from Egypt 🇪🇬
Always love your tutorials @thaticelandicguy. Quick question, most videos show how to zoom in to the middle of an image or video. What if one wants to zoom in, say to the top right corner of the image?
Super nice tutorial!
Glad you liked it!
Seriously you should make more of these !!
will do!
What am I missing ? I did exactly that . But my picture didn’t even move !!!
You'd be surprised how many of us bit off more than we could chew "programs changed so much in 10 years ty so much"
Awesome man! Your tips are so simple but so effective! I use your channel a lot! And still try to practise that coin trick from your old magic video haha
Thank you as always! Yea those coins lol love them
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. You make it look so easy bro! But it’s so dam hard haha! I’d love to see how you film in super bright conditions with what looks like no nd filter most of the time?
Every video "yo yo yo karrrrlafletta, my name's Arrdelood" lol. Great stuff though man, I've learnt so much from your channel.
Yooyoyoyoyoyoyoyo!!!! 😂
You are so right. And his humour, just goes through the roof! 😀😀
Great video -- if you have 4K footage how much can you zoom in before you start degrading the quality of the footage ?
Cheers
Can you hear differences between Z and S? then how you saying "zoom in"?
Thanks for sharing
Cool
Awesome. Here is a stupid question as i learn. Often i click on the picture or clip that i want to add the effect to. I click on effects. But the purple bar showing the key frames doesnt show. It seems random when it shows up. What am i doing?
Thanks Iceland Guy wow how is iceland like? so Cold....
It's cold lol
brilliant thanks - question: I want to center still images but can't find a cross grid for reference - nothing fancy, just crosshairs - thanks in advance (PS i've been to Iceland 2Xs!) - also how can I slow down the pan thanks
You can slow it down by making it less, avout the grind are you talking about in premiere pro?
@@thaticelandicguy I figured it out - if using a still image, select the track - a horizontal white line will show up - move it down (like audio) to decrease the speed of the pan and up to increase the speed - easy.
Hi you're amazing,
Is Sony a6400 with 16-50mm kit lens good enough for a commercial or a music video for UA-cam to start for a production kind of thing!
Thank you so much for your help!
Love from India 😊
yea why not? You don't need the best gear to make good videos. I haven't tried the kit lens tbh but my friend owns it and thinks it's pretty okay :)
@@thaticelandicguy thank you so much 🙏😊
@THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Totally agreed. It is the creator. Not the gear.
I am from India too. 😀😀
Ty for making videos for us noobs :)
I have only recently discovered your channel and I’ve been absolutely loving your videos. Quick question about this technique...what is the max you’d punch in to your footage before you start noticing a loss in quality? Is 115% the most you’d go to?
If I dont want to loose quality around 110-115 is the limit. If I'm doing it to enhance the something funy then I just go wild ☺
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Thank you for the reply and thanks for the tutorial! I’ll definitely be giving it a shot in my future edits! 😁
Where have you been all my life? :P Your English dialect is absolutely wonderful. never heard an Icelander speak English before. : D But above all, really good videos that are easy to keep up with. Now I will become a pro in Pr in no time. : D // a girl from Sweden :D
12 sec .....how did you that ....emerging photos together .....plz reply ?
What does "100" and "115" represent next to your Scale toggle? How far into the video the zoom travels...?
yes
very helpful
thumd ub
first here always enjoy your vidoes
thank you!
I LIKE YOUR ACCENT DUDE HAHA
😁
Oh duuude, I am sooo craving for an Icelandic PYLSUR right now! 🌭🌭🌭 😫 - good tutorial for beginners but you should’ve mentioned about motion blur and doing that in a transform effect
Haha naaa that is to much 2017 and I don't really use that transition at all anymore 😂☺
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. What transiton? I meant animating position and scale in the „transform” effect to be able to uncheck „use composition’s shutter angle” and type in 180 in order to get that natural motion blur during the animation as opposed to choppy animations achieved by keyframing it the way you showed in the video
@@kamilkp Why the hell Premiere doesn't include the shutter angle in the standard motion panel, I'll never know. That Transition effect is a useful way of adding motion blur in PP for sure, but I sometimes find it a bit buggy when animating text around the screen. It's something to do with the anchor points, it doesn't always move the text exactly how intended.
The only thing is how do you make a key frame?
Can you make a photo timelapse editing (in premiere) tutorial?👀
I have one on my channel I think: ua-cam.com/video/DlTkTMG2AIk/v-deo.html
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Thanks for helping me out !
But how do you smoothly zoom and pan at the same time? I've been googling this endlessly and no one has an answer!
Did you figure it out?
lmao @ "I'm walking by it [the camera] ...doing the youtube thing, you know" reminds me of a time when my coworker asked me..."so you guys just sit a camera down and walk by it for the shot and then go back and pick it up??"
hahah ayea story of our lives lol
Nice thumbnailed
hello
Voice dubbing in premier pro

VERY IMPORTANT: Go to: File > Project Settings > General. Make sure the Renderer dropdown says "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL)" or something similar. If your dropdown is set to "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" your zooms WILL NOT WORK!
In reverse ... if you know what I mean ........ have a great weekend my friend !
Thank you and you too!
Thank you but I think I still need more explanations, I couldn't really get all your words...
Thanks
