  • A diet that will make you smarter? KetoFLEX 12/3 is developed specifically to prevent cognitive decline and improve cognition. The diet works to create metabolic flexibility, by increasing ketones and glucose availability. As our work has shown, getting into ketosis proved very successful in improving brain outcomes.
How does our diet compare to other ketogenic diets? Our diet is plant-rich and filled with fiber and phytonutrients and good fats, which is quite different from other ketogenic diets relying on high amounts of butter and cheese.

I really love the concept of this diet. I am young, but am autistic/ADHD and have other mental and physical health difficulties that I think keto would be helpful for, but didn't really want to go for the meat/dairy heavy keto. Would love to know if there have been any studies using this for disorders other than Alzheimer's. Also, has this been used for Parkinson's? I know some diets eith similar features have been used with some success.

Fructose is worst thing for cognitive health? Does that mean fruits natural sugar? Should we avoid dates, gogi berries, and other very sweet fruits?

Thanks for sharing. We've seen some transitionally benefit from a carnivore approach as they work on healing their underlying gut issues to be able to handle a greater variety of food. Even then, we recognize that many people need to eliminate/minimize some plant toxins. In our program, we carefully indicate which foods are high in oxalates, lectins, etc. to aid in food choices. When you focus on cognition, research clearly suggests that a high fiber diet, rich in vegetables benefits the brain.
