TAMIYA 1/35 M10 ACHILLES 【Paint to completion】TANK MODEL

Hello everyone. This video is about Tamiya Achilles paint job. I have created my favorite faded expression in the basic painting stage with a few olive drab tones. The camouflage net required some detailed painting, but I am very happy with the result as I imagined. I hope you all enjoy the show! Best regards!

Bravo! You are a true artist with that airbrush. I do have one recommendation. In my military experience (US Army), all boxes and crates are marked with a description of their contents. (There are so many boxes, without nomenclature, logistics are impossible.) As with the stenciling on that box of USA C-rations, that detail adds a lot of visual interest. I have a collection of dry-transfer decals that I use (it doesn't really matter what they say, as in 1/35 they would be illegible.) Or, you can just paint tiny irregular lines...

I recently finished my own model of the Tamiya Achilles M10 IIc, I really enjoyed finishing the interior and I love the 17pdr gun, very distinctive. I like your use of the camouflaged netting on this build, quite an improvement.

What ratio do you thin your paint to

Thanks! Paint depends, but I'd say 1.5x to 2x. If I'm painting thin and not filling in the base coat, I dilute it about 3x.
