QUEEN is the best band in the universe and Freddie Mercury the best singer on the planet. I love them
They are the Princes of the Universe 😏

The performance of White Queen on this night is perhaps my favorite live Queen performance of all time.
Agreed! The musical interlude is absolutely mesmerizing.
Agreed!!!

Imagine seeing Queen on Christmas Eve now that’s a Christmas present ☺️👌
Yeah it would be but unfortunately it was a very shortened show compared to the rest of the tour and also almost the members were all sick
@@jackcolbert05 regardless the show was still great! Yeah it was only an hour but it must’ve still been great to see

I immediately started crying when Bri said "We'll leave you in the lap of the Gods"
Ok. I love that performance of that song. One of my favorites. I have this whole concert. Can't enough!!!!
😂 Yeah but Bri confused a hell of a lot of ppl sayin’ that w/o the ‘revisited’ tacked on as that song was “In the Lap of the God, Revisited” & not “In the Lap of the Gods.”

My favorite series on UA-cam 😍💗 I love Freddie Mercury 😍😍
I didn’t realize myself when Freddie was alive, I was only 2 years old, I realized that Freddie died at age of 9 and it was a shock for me, I felt as if I had lost a relative, although I never knew him, each song seemed to touch the strings of my soul and brought great pleasure. While watching the video These Are the Days of Our Lives will make me cry, he said good by for thous who knew him and many generations after.
When I think of how many years I wasted not listening to this incredible band... But I'm making up for it now!!

hearing Freddie's tenderness towards John regarding the cameras and a soundcheck
That soundcheck and "In The Lap of the Gods" were my favorite parts. I've never heard that soundcheck and I LOVE when they play "In The Lap of the Gods" live. Queen truly is the greatest ❤⭐👑
1975: Queen (almost) as his best. But wait, Queen was always at his best... throughout his entire career!!!
Queen is the entire band, not ‘he’.

I am a piano student/songwriter, and studying Queen recordings is an important part of my musical education--counts as official "study time." Magnificent--all 4 of them! Thank you Queen, and Adam Lambert too, for helping bring this phenomenal mastery to us all these years later. Saw you in L.A. on Brian's birthday--what a gift to me. Hallelujah! I love Queen!
4 of them are musical geniuses already in song writings. I've also studied a lot by their musicality. Glad to know you play the piano and write songs.
Queen is the best teacher for me too.
They went straight into the field

Best of music history
I hope that there will be an episode on the Crazy Tour, Hammersmith 1979. It's a shame that we don't have any official release about that tour or any Live killers DVD. Queen were at their top.
Queen have enough of that material in the archives but they won't release. They also passed on Hyde Park '76, Earls Court '77 and Houston '77. Even the legendary '79 Hammersmith has never been released.
Hyde Park is cut short (no encore) also quality is not that great,
And for hammy 79 they 'lost' the multi track tapes. I mean how could they loose this?
@@patricksommer3971 Is it true that there were new rough multitracks being found for the Hammersmith show? I'm sorry for being so negative but the band have let me down so many times. The last release i really was excited about was Live At The Rainbow 7 years ago.

It is nothing but a miracle that the images of this era remain with such high image quality
It's the 35mm film
@@justinnamuco9096 i dont know much about cameras, let alone films. can you please explain how the films they used helped to preserve the quality of the images?
May n Tailor still rocks🤟🤟
Still remember when I first heard of Our Last Night back in 2010 in high school with their song Elephants, still here 11 years later still listening to them and love watching their sound grow and mature with each year passing!
Fantastic I have all the DVDs but the one thing I regret is that I have never seen them live as Belfast as in the 70's it wasn't the place for them to play if they wanted to live. That was just the times but it's didn't stop the fans. I know they played England but it was expensive for fans from N Ireland to travel, pay accommodation, and consert fees, but that didn't stop us supporting you.
I saw them with Mott the Hoople in Memphis, TN 4/20/74, what a show!!! I was blessed to see them two more times on the Jazz tour. It's sad that so many people are only exposed to the 80's version of Queen and especially the Live Aid version but I'll tell you the mid 70's Queen couldn't be beat, Freddie's voice was beautiful and clear, Brian was able to play extended leads, John was the glue that held them together live and Roger's just a rock n' roll star and the most underrated drummer in R&R...and Freddie's hair was long! What's not to love?
So lucky! Do you remember anything about the 74 show, the songs they played? Did you take any pictures of the shows you attended? Do you know anyone who might;ve recorded one of them?
@@petibruh They basically did the queen 2 songs along with some of the queen debut album songs. Procession, Father to Son, Keep Yourself Alive, Liar, Son and Daughter to mention a few. I remember Freddy had a sequin glove and fingernails painted black on one hand and white on the other! I had a major buzz going if you know what I mean! No pictures but I do have some 8 mm footage of the other concerts I saw later on it’s some of the only silent movie footage existing for the Memphis Jazz Tour.
@@tncoltsfan Thank you so much for sharing your experience! That's seriously incredible, some great shows you've seen! Is your 8mm footage digitized? That's so awesome! Cheers!

“A Night At The Odeon”... che concerto, ancora oggi uno dei miei preferiti!!! Ascoltare Freddie, poi, è così emozionante!!!❤️❤️❤️
Assolutamente D'ACCORDO! :D
WoW!
I love them very much♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

literal 90 minutes of applause at the end
Excelente! Videoclip Cómo Siempre.
We will leave you with 'In the Lap of the Gods' ........
There was a time when songs like WWRY and WATC did not exist. An empty void. The planet had not heard them yet. Nobody knew how to do boom-boom-clap, and Queen had to think about how to close their concerts. Feels like it was centuries ago, another era in time.
I have to say though, In the Lap of the Gods works well as exit, and it sure makes BR, KYA and other hits that were already created, stand out even more. Imagine having the chance to hear White Queen and March of the Black Queen live! Would have loved to be there.
Bri look so cute 💗
Fabulous! They were so great live.
There is no doubt that this is one of the queen's best concerts. The band showed the world all they could give without mercy.
Looks like a great concert. I couldnt stop looking at Brian who looks just so beautiful that night.
