I think this was a great video. It was well presented, and I could understand it easily. I learned that rats will go thru pipes near the air conditioner sometimes, and holes in the roof. It is important to use high quality materials when doing construction. Thanks for explaining this.

Thank you so-o-o-o much! I wish that you guys were in Los Angeles! I learned so much and actually played it twice so that I could take notes. Great idea to secure the bait stations to a concrete block. Also, great idea to use cement as a sealer - instead of foam. Also, first time I heard anything about closing/sealing the plumbing stacks! Makes perfect sense. Thanks again.

So you put out poison bait stations, so they can eat that, go in the house, then die? I'm confused.

I put a new garage door seal on and went 4 ft off the ground with solid molding on each side of door, and SOB pushed itself into the garage One night! Traps practically don’t work, or poisons- I search all the time for new ways of keeping them out

Nice tips and all. But on the first example house the home owner might want to speak with is neighbor to get rid of those palm trees. All those holes and cavities make it a rat hotel. :-)
I've seen palm trees with rats the size of small cats...

I'm sure everyone has their opinions of house a rat can get into your house. They can enter the and come up into your toilet. I have a video posted on that. Most of the time rodents will enter other ways but we recommend the all possible entry holes be sealed. Thanks for the comment.

What about ac units on roofs, can you show how and if they can get in from there?

My husband says there is no way a rat can get into the attic from the roof stacks unless there is a hole in your pipe.

Hey wildlife control technicians, check out our simple to use odor absorbing bag product. Pest control companies use our product to absorb odors from non- accessible voids where rodents have died. plenty of testimonials from technicians on our channel.
Absorbs all odors and there may be a distributor near you.

I'd like to possibly one day catch rats & keep them as pets to avoid buying them from PetSmart or PetCo. Any tips on how to catch them while at home? I don't have a dirty back yard but, we do get a lot of wild squirrels, opossums, skunks, (etc). Any tips on catching wild rats to keep as pets without killing them?
