Man, I like this player. Have you guys watched him before. He is an upgrade to Connor G.. finishing, speed, decision making, pressure, passing… he has both defensive and offensive attributes .. left footed man… 😊
I’ve watched him play a decent amount of times and think he’s a good player I just don’t think this is a good transfer for Chelsea. We have plenty of cm that can play that role and play it well.
@@Lvd12393 I think this move in particular is more about finding a player of a certain caliber to help engrave Maresca ball into the club, i doubt he'll be a mainstay but he's so cheap and Chelsea have had their eye on him for a couple seasons now, we may as well capitalise. Even if he doesn't start first team
If Chelsea's project succeeds, they have the potential to become a dynasty. Their strategy of acquiring young, promising talent positions them as a formidable force in the future. While both Chelsea and Real Madrid aggressively invest in young talent, Real Madrid typically secures top-tier prospects first. However, Chelsea's strong financial position allows them to acquire highly skilled players that Real Madrid may miss. Fans should remain patient, as significant progress is likely this coming season. As current EPL stars age, Chelsea's energetic new recruits will begin to shine. Once the team develops chemistry, they will likely surpass other teams. While some recruitment missteps are inevitable, the overall outcome will be highly successful. Chelsea will not only have a successful young team for years to come, but they will also be financially stable due to the lower wages given to young players and performance-based salaries. Concerns about having too much top young talent can be addressed by letting the best players compete for their positions. This competition ensures that only the best make it to the team, while others can be loaned out or sold, thereby maintaining financial stability and profiting from player development. While some may not favor Dewsbury Hall over Conor Gallagher, it's important to recognize that even a slight improvement, such as a yard or two, could be the difference needed to push the team over the line next season. In summary, Chelsea's long-term strategy, financial acumen, and deep talent pool position them for sustained success and stability. Fans should look forward to a bright future as the team continues to grow and excel.
No I hold a grudge against Brighton, they messed us around big time with Caicedo and then practically in the middle of the night agreed to sell him to Liverpool ( that really pissed me off ) only for the player himself choosing Chelsea he’d be a Liverpool player and then I would have really been pissed with Brighton, Chelsea should buy him if for nothing else just to get some revenge on Brighton the way we just did with Barcelona
I'm just concerned over Carney's future with this move. I hope he doesn't move without being given a chance. Didn't mind Omari or Madueke getting linked away but Carney is special man.
100%, if you watched him, we only really have Palmer that has the type of ball carrying and passing vision that KDH has, we need that. We can't rely on Palmer to do everything, as we don't necessarily know what we will get from Jackson, the LHS is problematic, Enzo/Caicedo/Lavia are not creative players, nor are they meant to be so we need some more goals from somewhere.
I’m really happy with that signing honestly, the issue is it means Gallagher will almost definitely be sold, I’m sure that’s the right decision honestly for the new system but it always hurts to see an academy player like that leave, Mount still hurts lol
Carney, Lavia, & Nkunku are too injury prone & will be used sparingly. Sterling & Mudryk are inconsistent & could be very underwhelming at times. Hence Dewsbury makes sense. He can play from the left as well as midfield & his defensive & attacking attributes are top notch.
@@kanevick Nah, they really like Carney so I think he'll be sent out on loan to get minutes if anything. I guess it depends what he wants but he seems settled at Chelsea and has time on his side, so I reckon he'd be down for the loan and then back himself to come back and break into the team

Chelsea could really lose this game of chicken with Gallagher. I could really see him staying for a year and leaving on a free next year. And honestly I would applaud him for doing so
Still not impressed. I understand supporting the new manager but but acquiring a 2nd division midfielder is not how you get back to challenging for top flight titles. His experience might be helpful, however. Let's see how much he actually plays.
Ngolo Kante was a championship player. I realize that every once in a while you find a diamond, and this is not the norm. Give him a chance sometime players grow to thier environment.
The problem with this for me is - who do you drop to even make Dewsbury-Hall a rotational player? I’ll even add in the assumption that Conor is leaving. But my question still stands. Who is KDH replacing as a rotational player?
People forget that apart from making tackles, Connor runs about 11-13km a match. That's Kante level. That's why he's always there to make a tackle. Just because you saw a compilation video of a guy making tackles doesn't mean he will be there for every tackle like Connor, it just shows that he has made tackles on camera to make up a compilation video. That said, he's a good mid with close control, link up and tight passing. He'd do well to link the front like and we need somebody to ping off Palmer. Poor kid does it all by himself. I'd have preferred a foreign player with a little more flair, but he's neat and creative at least.
Good signing so someone is getting the chop. Gallagher the obvious one but could be Cacadei but as he did well at Leicester maybe ENZO wants to keep him. CHUKKY could be going and has a bad injury record too.
I actually think that the club’s approach has shifted following the failure of Operation Olise. I think Palmer will now be the main option at right wing with Dewsbury-Hall playing as the attacking 8. I think Chelsea will go in for one more attacker only if we get Dewsbury-Hall over the line.
yes Grey, grandson of Eddie Grey who I think was a left winger for Leeds and his brother played for them too..I think as a full back. does nt mean Chelsea need him though!
Ofcourse he's not on conor level he's way above! conor is so trash it's crazy.. hall does simple things that conor struggle with like passing the damn ball!😂

The fact that Brighton was interested and then we hijack. Are we ever not going to be tied to Brighton? LOL.
We should do it just out of spite to pee off Brighton..
Feel like Carney should be the second #8/10: crazy potential there, already knows the club and team etc
