We all appreciate his valor, sacrifice and good nature. My dad, Milton Platcow also fought in the Yankee Division and was wounded in St Lo, France on D Day + 5. Sacrifices we simply cannot imagine today. Thank you all.

My Dad was a Captain in the 26th and told me a story of bringing back someone
from behind German lines. This video makes me wonder if he was the soldier?
Only thing that has me thinking he wasn't was my Dad was I believe 101 Reg.
Mr. Simon still alive?
