Good job on the pronunciations of the names! As a Mandarin speaker myself, I've always found it funny, though understandable since it's a foreign language for most English speakers, how incorrectly the Yugioh community pronounces Yazi, Baxia, etc. It was refreshing to hear them pronounced relatively correctly.
I was confused by it, but it's cool that it's actually the correct pronunciation... Or as close as most of us who don't speak Mandarin will probably get
My compliments to the editor, coz damnit those comments by the cards sent my sides to orbit. The Doriado one tho broke me laughing so hard i got funny looks in the library
I’m a Swordsoul main and I’ve been playing Denglong in my decks for awhile now in MD. I was so happy Denglong came off the banlist I bought myself a copy of the deck and made a video displaying Denglong combos in the deck. This deck will be my introduction to tcg so here’s hoping for the best. The vid also did well too as I just reached 100 subs last night while I was asleep 🎊. Safe to say I am very happy Denglong is unbanned.
Back when I use to play Yang Zing, I would main deck Celestia to banish Wyrms from my grave to destroy cards, and Pot of Acquisitiveness to recycle my banished Wyrms.
Yang Zing benefit from being destroyed by battle or card effects, which are also shared by Mannadium, another Synchro Deck. It's possible for a Visas Mannadium-Yang Zing deck and it is glorious.
God, i love this archetype. I'm a sucker for "inherited effects", and coupling that with a 2+ material Baxia being OH SO SATISFYING to quick synchro, they're a really enjoyable archetype. Their main deck monsters don't hold up great in the modern game on their own, but pairing them with Tenyi leads to an extremely versatile and fun midrange deck. ... Oh, and Swordsoul exists, too. Honestly, i prefer not to use it in more casual builds because Swordsoul just carries so damn hard that the Yang Zings feel pointless. I want to play the deck because i like the gimmick, not necessarily because it has aged well or will win me games at a high level.
@@yusheitslv100pirit and dragon already exist so they probably dont want to bend over backwards and then do a flip with every "dragon" or "spirit" PSCT in existence and then do like 7 errata and create another frog the jam incident
I never really played with Yang Xings so I can't really comment on how much I like them, I will say they do look very interesting. By the way, when is Megalith's explained going to come out?
Considering Konami loves referring crap for Archtypes. I have to ask: If Konami ever did a Archtype based on (little Kuriboh) Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, how would they do it?
They don't got me pronunciation checking them! I'm half Chinese so I try to help Nova out where I can. He won't get the Mandarin 100%, but it's still loads better than "backseeya", "bixy", and "tao-tye".
@@emonychanho in their right mind even pronounces Baxia with a "k"?! I've grown up around English, Arabic, and Urdu (and am a big anime fan), and I still don't understand how English-only speakers manage to mangle things so badly. I know a lot of it has to do with the familiarity of certain sounds, but seriously, they seem to do just fine with "European" languages. 😞 P.S. I can only actually speak English, and my pronunciation/emphasis for the other languages is usually a bit off-base, but I know how they're supposed to sound.
Before Swordsoul could run (over the meta), the Yang Zing had to crawl.
I remember running Metalfoes Yang Zing back in 2017 at regionals.
You mean before Wyrms could rise, YangZings needed to do the lifting.
I mean aren't they essentially a sidestep digivolution of yang zing?
@@brycebledsoe3870 That's exactly how I describe them lmao.

First! Also a huge part of my “Anime” signature deck
Nova your new logo is so cool thank you to whoever worked on it ^^
I really love Yang Zing, I wish they had just something a little bit to give them a boost, but they overall are fun. Is there lore behind Yang Zing?
good luck looking up the entire duel termial lore
This editing is great! Finally we get to see the colored wyrms.
Golden Nova: Yang Zing---
MK Announcer: Brutality
25:05 I *LOVE* that one!
Ahhh, the deck that thought me what "missing timing" meant 😂😂😂
Hearing baxia being pronounced relatively correctly and not like "baks-ee-uh" brought a tear to my eye

Yang Zing is one of my favorite archetypes and I was so happy to see Denglong get off the ban list. Can’t wait to use em with my swordsoul deck.

The Day Manadium was reveald, i was thinking and the first theme in my mind was Yang Zing
I:P masquerena archetype for synchro's? Yes please lol
I think this archetype is very interesting, though I would like to see what the Virtual World archetype have to offer
Denglong is my favorite from just its pure history. Its lore in mythology is also so based
Yang zing are one of the reason I still like yugioh
I like playing Bian in blackwing lmao. Blackwing full armor master go brrr

Best target is mare-mare.
Question: Why couldn't they call the wyrm type "Spirit Dragon"? The Japanese name of the type (幻竜) translates to "Phantom Dragon."
Maybe it was a bit too physically large when written out in English for their tastes.

Bit ironic the Typing called "Wyrm," Western dragon, look more like "Long," Eastern dragon, ngl.
Using them in the Synchro Festival now
I prefer their Chinese names, somehow
Can you do a video on lightsworns very under rated deck but has been my favorite for years

Is this man saying these names correctly?
Is this how you actually pronounce the yang zing names?
why does every UA-camr pronounce this deck SO wrong
though I am surprised he actually pronounced some of them right
