With furniture, it helps to go to stores in person and sit on couches and at tables etc, because physically trying something out will help you determine what you want in your space and that way it will be easier to shop online :) another tip is to take a photo of the measurements of things you like so you can compare it to things online so your perspective is real and you won't get surprised when something arrives :) Goodluck!
