Bullshit. I’ve been polite to officers who were total dicks trying to provoke a reaction to have a reason to shoot, ticket, or be aggressive. I’ve seen many who do not give an opportunity for courteous engagements, but attack first and question later with no crime committed and even with the wrong person. The average American law enforcement officer has a 10th grade education and virtual immunity from persecution when using force against citizens. Doesn’t help that the Supreme Court ruled that they do not have to have knowledge of the law in order to enforce it, not to mention the hard on for guns and killing in our culture. People have been protesting here for a reason and it’s not for more police.
@@kissit012 I understand what you're saying. I'm a white man so I can't say I know what it's like when you're treated badly by a cop because of the colour of your skin. My point is that most of the time if you start the conversation with I know the law and you don't even though you're a cop it's almost always going be a confrontation. I live in my own little dream world where if you're not doing anything wrong then you'll be fine. Unfortunately that's just not the case these days!
