Semi Recessed 1800 Gallon Koi Pond

This has been a project I was putting off for well over a year. Well after my 16 Koi rapidly grew this summer their old "puddle" just would not do. Now they have a nice 8x10x3' deep pond with plenty of aeration, filtration, vegetation and even some subtle lighting at night.
In addition to the Koi there are 5 small (young) sturgeon. The plan is to house them here for a year or two and them move everyone to a 10-15 thousand gallon pond at a different location. (I'm not looking forward to transporting all the fish but what must be done must be done!)
